[Donnie wouldn't blame him for not being able to keep things straight either way; having info downloaded right into your brain wasn't exactly comfortable, even if it is efficient to some degree.

He vanishes into the back where the kitchen is, rummaging around for a pot.

Oh, you know, trying to figure out the solution to the whole problem here- that's why they brought me, right? That's what I figured. The data point neglects to inform us on a lot of things though, like the fact that our resources here are severely limited and all the power goes out when the Storms -capital "S"- hit, making it near impossible to actually track anything down in regards to sources.

[Donnie steps back out around the counter, carrying a large pot of water to set over by the fire. He tosses a log or two onto the flames. Wandering back to the counter, he pokes around at a few thermoses left out, uncapping one and giving a sniff before he caps it again, grabbing a couple of mugs before walking back where Leo is.]

Back to the data points though, there's several of them around. They're kind of cool and at the same time kinda freaky because you automatically get all this know-how for specific things depending on what you touch, jammed into your head? But once you touch another one it all gets rewritten and whatever you learned from the previous one is just gone.

[He settles next to Leo again, opening the thermos to pour some coffee for them.]

Super weird. And inefficient.
