That alone was enough to get a chuckle out of the elder turtle. It was something that let him know the atmosphere around them had changed a bit more, leveling out for them to breathe.

"Always have, always will be," Raph said, returning his brother's little smile with a toothy grin of his own. And he believed it with all of his heart.

He also believed it in his head, but that brain of his was trying to work its way through the problem they were both in.

"Now we need to get outta this fog. I can't tell where I'm going here. Plus it keeps makin' me see all of you splitting up on me."
