All three of my boys will be having a rough time with the identities the zombies will take on, but I think Knuckles will probably have the easiest time blanking it out and accepting them as zombies and not his friends. He'll probably get furious that they're impersonating them.
Radley is not suited for this at all, but he will do whatever he has to protect everyone. And probably have a few meltdowns in private after having to kill many zombies looking like his friends back home. Would be up to having some exciting situations like trapped in the diner's kitchen with other residents, trying to keep zombies from breaking through.
Sephiroth will be outwardly fine and will be all over the place trying to keep everyone safe. His powers going in and out will be highly aggravating and distressing to him, but he will try to compensate by using the guns and whatever other weapons he can get hold of. While he will not want anyone to see him melting down over having to kill many Zack-zombies, he may get caught at it once. Would love finding unique opportunities for him to try to rescue other characters stuck in scary situations, and he will also try to help find a cure if anyone gets bit.
