He shifted, pushing away from the wall and dropping down to ground level from some several feet up without a second thought. Giving himself a dusting, he started over closer towards the woman.

Out of the shadows it was easier to make out his features, metal planes and lines despite the fluid, almost organic way he moved. His voice bore a faintly mechanical tone to it, nothing that really took away from the casual way he spoke. "They're called glownies," he explained, glancing over to nod towards the luminous creature, folding his arms as he watched the one she'd been trying to coax looking over at them with curiosity of its own.
