CR Meme

Ever wonder what other characters in the game are getting up to? Looking for a new flavor of interaction? Just really want your character in a situation they aren't prepared for? Well then, perhaps a CR Meme is what you're looking for! And look at this, it's a CR Meme. Magic how that happens, right?

Character name: Tommy Shepherd
Ship and Expertise: Twin Roses || Agriculture
Current residence: Pink 13
Typical activities: Tommy is almost daily in the Greenhouse in Temba, or carrying supplies from there to the diner (for for Twin Roses people, on the ship tending plants there). Can be found around the forge or his home trying to help Tony out or working on electrical engineering. When he's frustrated or needs space he can be found briefly on the beach before taking off to one of the island he found well off shore.

Character themes: Tommy is a variable character. Threads with him can lead to him debating nicknames, making friends, making enemies, or just being a full on asshole. He's a speedster and he's got a focus on being the best he can so that can come up a bit too.
Warning: Tommy comes with themes of child abuse, experimentation, racism, and a very bad temper to go with it all. CR with him is NOT GUARANTEED TO BE POSITIVE.

Ongoing: During this event Tommy is now staying in Temba for his normal work, partially because he injured his leg. He's also just a bit emotionally drained and so working on electrical stuff when he's not working the greenhouse or helping at the diner that is technically his.
Future: No nefarious plans for Tommy. He's more of a 'take it as it comes' sort of character and so more shifts with other people's plans.

CR You Want: More friends. Definitely hijinxs. Someone get up to some pranks with him, he needs to work some feelings off.
CR You Don't Want: Someone trying to 'adopt' Tommy. People who are going to spend a lot of time dismissing him for being a 'kid'. He will have no patience for these and it's a quick method to him avoiding a character.

Ship and Expertise: First Breath || Security
Current residence: Upper levels of Yellow-7 (The civics center)
Typical activities: Early morning security patrols around Temba to look for threads, new animal incursions, or changes. Then returns to the diner for breakfast. After that she goes to the Civics center and works out with time taken for training others. Then she works on maintaining or improving obstacle courses. After that she takes the afternoon for herself. This can vary between wandering around to explore plants, trying to learn more about this world, petting glownies, and now she wants to learn to cook

Character themes: Lauri-Ell has very serious opinions about offering kindness to others, nobility, and heroism. These will come up. She also doesn't really know human culture well. Hell, she doesn't even know Kree culture well. Expect her to frequently be confused and asking lots of questions about something that seems normal (like singing or dancing). She can get too serious about protecting others. She doesn't know what flirting is (and it's hilarious)

Ongoing: Lauri-Ell is currently in Not-Temba exploring, armed with her Universal Weapon and an Agrii security weapon. Expect her there through the rest of the event.
Future: I would like Lauri-Ell to develop more friends. She's got a smaller CR selection and hasn't met a lot of people who are also used to space. She would like to interact with more people like this, or more people that don't feel like they fit in with others.

CR You Want: Friends. People to teach her more about other cultures. Someone to teach her more about having fun. Projects she can join into with her heavy lifting abilities. People to flirt with her so she can realize she does not find males flirting as interesting as women. A sparring partner.
CR You Don't Want: Someone being a bully around her. Unless they are willing to deal with the repercussions which is a very large, very angry woman.

Ship and Expertise: Palm Cottage || Engineering
Current residence: Yellow-5 back room
Typical activities: Wandering Temba to put together utilities maps with the help of Jon, evaluating building statuses and marking which might be useful for material gathering because it may not be as stable for residence. In the Temba Restoration Coordination building making maps and sketches and otherwise making notes. At the hangar doing what external maintenance he can to ships he's not part of, or in his ship working on it.

Character themes: Reeve is prone to internal guilt over the world he's from. Is very focused on trying to improve lives. Will often try and encourage others to look for answers but ask if he can do something to make their lives better. A very giving man who tries to help but is a bit sharper when people are what he feels is unreasonable. Mini being around.

Ongoing: Currently in Temba. He was helping the mines crew but after the maps were completed he chose to step back due to Mini.
Future: Reeve needs new projects. Once the event is over, he's going to offer to help people customize their ships more, including with additional bed space or accessibility and safety options if they want them. But he will insist on crew agreement.

CR You Want: Reeve is down for friends and enemies. He also wouldn't mind people to mentor.

Being at the library, but also exploring Not!Temba, where he tends to visit the deleon Frank that lives in that library. Jon tends to visit the forge regularly as well to spend time with Tony, share coffee or just watch the man being an inventive genius

Character themes: Horror themes of basically any sort. Apocalypse stuff. EYES.

Ongoing:

He's trying to learn more about the other city, the potential Graq-connection, stuuuuuff... Still smooching Tony and having his library taken over by mothcats. He's actually fairly content with being in Temba, but worries what will happen to him once he is being send home, given that he has no place in his own world any longer. He hopes he gets a choice when the time comes and maybe gets a chance to stay with Tony? Some tensions are brewing between him and Richie and he is worried about what might happen should he end up in a similar situation like Billy has. Many worries and apocalypse-related baggage. Smoking has increased since he got his darned lighter back.

Future:

Nothing planned, but Jon's focus will shift away from trying to rebuild a city to figure out what's going on and whether or not they are even on the correct planet for the Agrii to consider their home. He may get into a dispute with Tony aaaand is certain to get into a dispute with Richie. Maybe he gets covered in glitter.

CR You Want:

Tony. I mean. Don't we all? Already an important part of Jon's CR and they've had some pretty sweet time to recover from the whole canon-update misery and I HAVEN'T MISSED THOSE FROWNY LOOKS YOU WERE CASTING JON, TONY! And I remember that you were interested in having them get into a bit of a fight, which we can certainly make happen. Will they get a chance to be adorable again later? Personally I would welcome that, because I adore these idiots...

Jon needs friends, but characters picking fights with him or even fearing him are more than welcome. On the long run it would be neat to either find a way for him to use his powers in a way that is actually helpful OR lure out his full Eldritch Horror potential. Which will contain EYES.

Certainly interested in furthering existing CR like Tommy, Cal, Cayde, Ikora, Moonshade, Reeve, Omega, Billy, Rufus, Kaz, Drake, RICHIE, Padmé & kids, Catra, Echo, EVERYONE!! And meeting ALL THE NEW PEOPLE! We have many beautiful new faces and I just need to marinate Jon in you all~

I don't want for Tony to stop flirting with him, mind you. I'm still open to direct them to a bit of a quarrel, though, that can be interesting? But overall Tony is good for him. But that's the wrong place to put this, right? What I don't want? For you to come to the library to hunt the mothcats. Or hurt Frank. You can hurt Jon, that's fine.

Current residence: The Hotel
Typical activities: Collects wool from glownies on the regular, goes through the greenhouse to try and suss out plants with spinnable fiber. Spends mornings spinning thread, afternoons in meditation (and will be offering magic classes for control), evenings making cloth. Generally just around and kind.

Character themes: Magic and faith. She can't extract the things from herself, so expect it to come up. She doesn't force her faith on anyone, but she is happy to discuss it.

Ongoing: Currently Lark is hanging in Temba trying to help carry the weight of things with people exploring a variety of things.
Future: Lark would like to start taking measurements of people for the purpose of making clothes for them. She would also love to teach people how to use a loom when some are made ~~Shiro is making her a lap loom for now~~

CR You Want: Anything is welcome. Enemies will need to be wary, though, she CAN make their clothes weave into themselves and make a cocoon around them. AS A NOTE: Lark is pan and polyamorous. Do not assume that developing a relationship with her will be an exclusive thing. Just don't. She will make that clear, but if that isn't cool for you as a player, don't start stuff.

Of course I want to continue our CR, but I would love for Lark to find/meet/try and teach Jon some level of internal control.

OOC Yays!: I really genuinely like negative CR, upsetting drama, and doing horrible things to my characters. I also like all the fluffy nice stuff, but that seems pretty common.

Character name: Cobb Vanth
Ship and Expertise: First Breath, Engineering
Current residence: One of the houses in Blue 21.
Typical activities: Cobb is usually around the houses in Blue 21. He's given himself the task of fixing them up and making them livable for everyone. He's managed to fix up three houses so far. He's got seven more to work on. Otherwise, he can be found around the diner where he likes to cook. The glownie ranch up in Yellow 2 where he checks in on them and occasionally will slaughter one for food, he's semi-working on establishing a healthy herd so that everyone has a more stable source of protein. He also likes to wind down at Cayde's bar where he tends to post himself up in a corner. He'll chat with anyone who stops by.

Character themes: Warnings for Cobb: Slavery. Physical abuse. Violence. He doesn't talk about these things often or easily but they can come up once he starts to trust someone.

In general, Cobb is a small town boy from Tatooine trying to do his best to survive. He's got a strong sense of honor and right vs. wrong. He's friendly and outgoing and usually helpful. Just don't make him mad. He's been known to carve messages with knives in people's faces for making him mad.

Ongoing: Cobb has mostly settled into the roll of looking after Temba and the people there. He hasn't officially called himself Marshal but he's been doing a fair bit of that. Fixing things up and making things livable.
Future: Cobb to relax a little would be good. He doesn't have to fix everything himself. A speeder business might be fun. He's got his speeder but if he could find a way to make more for people that'd be fun. It would be good eventually to have his past as a slave and his lack of education to get out so maybe he can learn to read/write better. Eventual letting go of the rage he carries over his past would be healthy for him too.

CR You Want: Friends! Cobb's got a little romance going with Mando, so that's locked up. But just people he can trust and hang out with. If anyone else wants to jump in on house fixing/glownie ranching/speeder building I'd be down for that.
CR You Don't Want: Treating Cobb like he's some sort of backwater idiot will not get you far with him. No breaking the 4th wall with him.

I kind of want to make Jon REALLY BAD at meditating, just to give them both a challenge now.

Ezra is also on the 'Jon, please give it more of a try' train. But trying not to be obnoxious about it. He's rooting for Jon. With tea.

Well, they can take turns. She can have Jon meditate in her work room which is specifically warded to keep magical energies from escaping. so if something goes wrong, no one is hurt.

Character name: Ikora Rey
Ship and Expertise: Flygood, Medical.
Current residence: The Tower.
Typical activities: Ikora is a little hard to pin down. She spends a lot of time wandering looking for clues or information about why they're here and what they're supposed to do. Can be found easiest at the Library where she is building a little War Room to keep this information, the Jedi Temple where she meditates, and Cayde's bar.

Character themes: Warnings for Ikora: War. Violence. Some xenophobia in regards to certain alien species. Mentions of death and personal loss.

Ikora is basically a space philosopher with magical powers. She's very smart, studies lots of different things, and is widely considered the most powerful Voidwalker in like centuries. She is smarter than you and scary. But pleasant! Really, she's friendly and will talk about her world/universe and ask questions about yours. You can also meet her Ghost, Ophiuchus, who almost always accompanies her.

Ongoing: Her biggest project is collecting all the information they have on the Agrii/Temba/Agra-10/Atroma etc and putting it together in the library so they can study it better.
Future: I... don't... really... know. Eventually, someone should find out she's from a time when Cayde-6 is dead and she's keeping that from him. But I don't have much of a plan for Ikora in terms of personal character development.

CR You Want: Friends! Allies. I tend to play Ikora as ace so romance could possibly happen but it wouldn't include sex. This might change if Bungie ever gives us more character details about her. I'm not bitter. Nope.
CR You Don't Want: Ikora doesn't tolerate fools easily. Fuck around and find out how quickly she'll toss a Nova Bomb at you.

Ship and Expertise: Bishop/Medical
Current residence: YA HQ 13 Pink
Typical activities: Working at the hospital, hanging in/around YA HQ, going to the diner, visiting the Soldier, looking for the Soldier, training with Lauri-Ell and/or the Soldier, flying through town, very occasionally on the Bishop

Character themes: Magic, Hope, Depression. Billy can be very light and pure, or very depressing. He comes with a suicide mention warning. There are parts of his past that can be very messed up and disturbing, reflecting real world anti-Semitism and homophobia. These can be avoided if they are triggering to anyone, please let me know and I will do my best to warn for them if they come up in threads.

He is a character who has the theoretical power to have anything he desires, and has been told he will one day be a literal god. In other hands he could have had the potential to be a chaotic dictator, but somehow Billy's still surprisingly pure.

Ongoing: Billy is still feeling awkward about what he did to everyone with the Super Hero city, but he's trying to get back to something like normal. He's still afraid it might happen again, to him or someone else. He and Cayde are about to blow up the tunnels, I imagine that might have some repercussions.

Future: Drake still needs to do his experiments.

CR You Want: Should branch out more for friends, as always would love negative CR, i know Billy makes it hard, but bring it on, that punk messed with your lives, bring on the resentment. Magic mentors.
CR You Don't Want: Billy can get boring if paired up with someone too much like him, if it's just sweet on sweet, we need a little spice to keep it fun.

Jon definitely come by the Jedi Temple because he's interested in what the local Jedi have made of the old museum. And yes. To try the entire meditation thing again.

Current residence: Sigh, the Flygood. Stars help him
Typical activities: Working on/around the ship, tuning up the droids, going to try and tend to the koyo trees with supervision, visiting Reeve, lurking near the temple but not visiting it still because he feels weird, cliff jumping, gliding on his glider, stalking anyone with a vehicle, trying to piece together something that flies out of the junk he's got

Character themes: War comes up a lot, obviously, being Star Wars. Poe's sort of still in his arc of learning to become a leader and not just a soldier.

Ongoing: He is starting to settle down, lay some roots. He's looking to help out more, learn more, and build a community.
Future: LET POE FLY OMG. I'd like him to make some friends, REALLY settle enough to drop the pilot data point and switch over to Agriculture. Would love to set up some kind of pod-racing or star wars: resistance style racing thing.

CR You Want: He hasn't got to let out his temper, that would be fun. Give him someone to argue with, either as a friend or enemy.

Character name: Kaz Brekker
Ship and Expertise: the Bloodsport and though he isn't keen on Datapoints, he has Engineering
Current residence: Well Kaz a specially commissioned room in the hold, but it's just enough for him to stand up and a bunk in it. Seriously there are prison cells that are bigger.

Typical activities: Right now with there being no communication between Temba and Not-Temba he's exploring one for about 2 weeks then having to let his leg heal enough in regular Temba, then rinse and repeat.
Character themes: I'm not sure how to answer this one really. Dark maybe? Kaz is rude always, which usually is enough to offend others. Fair warning that Kaz has one of the most fucked up backstories I've seen in fiction. And while he does have PTSD over it he also does his best to hide that PTSD. He seems to only show emotions that are shades of irritation up to anger, so it's great if another character could elicit any other kind of emotion.

Ongoing: Right now he is in regular Temba healing up. So he's not really doing that much. As far as connections go, he does his best to stay on top of who's new and who's gone. Gossip is always of interest but it would be easier to say out of all the characters that have come and gone over the months he's been in Temba he's had exactly two with an 'if you squint' third for positive CR. The rest of all of those many characters and threads have been negative.
Future: I'd really like it if Kaz could make power rods enough that could turn something pretty useful on in Not-Temba (electric lighting, water reclamation, etc)

CR You Want: Enemies would always be welcome and if you can somehow be friendly with Kaz that would be cool too c:
CR You Don't Want: Romance. Firstly he's still technically a minor, and secondly, the mentioned PTSD means that someone else's skin touching his triggers his PTSD so that he'll be a shaking, hyperventilating mess

Anything else? Please be aware that I am only reading with 1 eye and typing with 2 fingers. I'm fully aware no one has me on some sort of tag clock, but I've become irrationally fixated on the idea I'm 'too slow'. Please be patient with me.

Typical activities: Trying to fix the hole in her roof, climbing literally everywhere, sparring at Lauri-Ell's community place, at the diner, at the food dispensers, is there food?, spying, watching all the cute girls, sleeping in sunbeams

Character themes: Cycle of abuse. Child soldier.
Catra was raised by a horrifically abusive woman, and in turn is not a pleasant person. She lashes out and is verbally, physically and emotionally abusive to friends and enemies.

Ongoing: Things have been going too well for her, so clearly something bad needs to happen.
Future: I plan to canon update her soon-ish, to return with even more trauma/trust issues

Ship and Expertise: Engineer of First Breath
Current residence: Mostly in the Jedi Temple, but he lives either with Din or Obi-Wan.
Typical activities: The kid can be found training in the Jedi Temple, or meditating and using the Force in various quiet areas in the city. Otherwise, he wanders and finds trouble. He frequents the Deep End where Cayde has set up a fish tank snack bar for him. He likes playing in the sand at the beach and looking at the flowers in the greenhouse.

Character themes: It's unlikely anything dark will come up in threads, but there is a possibility for war flashbacks and thoughts of child murder. Other than that? This kid is still pretty much non-verbal, though that is something he's working on! The kid may speak in the future! I do my best to give enough in noises and body language (not to mention nods and head shaking) for people to react to in the meantime.

Ongoing: The kid has more friends than he knows what to do with! He's learning how to Jedi and trying to balance that with living with Din. Also much exploring and learning about the world!
Future: the kid needs to get into more trouble lol.

CR You Don't Want: No romance. He might be 50 but he's still a kid.

Current residence: It WAS by the train station, but that's...more populated these days. In process of looking for new digs.
Typical activities: Still working on his satellite, at the diner, at the Cake Dance, going off somewhere secret to work on something (hmm), using the replicator a lot (hmm), casually stalking other characters (hmmmmmmmmmm)

Character themes: Very very bad person. Bad. Manipulator. Murderer. Twisted fuck.

Ongoing: He's been laying the ground work for a loooong time. Nearly has Tommy on his side, would like to get a few more people before he starts ramping things up.
Future: I WOULD LIKE TO START HURTING PEOPLE. Please let me hurt you. I can bring you drama and violence. I'd like to set up scenarios to rescue ppl from and play hero. I'd like to take out ppl who suspect me. I'd like to try and kill Tony. Bring on the big bad guy plays, it's coming.

The Eye isn't one for mischief, but getting cut off from the Eye affects Jon in various ways. He gets tired and has trouble focusing, so if that were the case it would merely cause its own brand of hindrances.

Hence not cutting Jon off of his patron is advisable for this goal, actually~
