Steve blinks at Tommy for a second, not entirely sure what to say to that first part. Different universe, he reminds himself. But apparently where Tommy is from, he and Bucky are still close. Close enough for a joke like that, at least. He finally lets out a laugh, ears red.

"Uh, actually it's more like 'totally-romantic-actual-partner', now. With one of them, I mean. Bucky with the short hair and both arms." It's really good that his Bucky is the only one that fits that description. It's already confusing enough with three of them running around, even if they all do use different names.

He leaves it at that and starts leading back towards where the berries were. Thankfully it's not overly far and the bushes are lousy with them. Steve picks a few and eats them first to make sure they really are the same and then starts collecting them for his bag.

"Go ahead and fill up. Once you're all set I'll ask ya to run off and see if there's a good way back. If you run into anything dangerous, though, come straight back." Still a Captain.
