Of course she would ask that of her. Clearly Tommy is just too pretty to be a proper normal human. And the white hair. And the piercing green eye color. Surely he's just too perfect to be human. Which... well, that's actually true. But that doesn't mean he's native. He offers a smile when some lady greets him, and he has to frown briefly at what she's wearing. And then he laughs.
