Steve tastes good - there's this smoky, salty aftertaste that Bucky figures is probably the sap, which is pretty fitting, given that Steve is a sap.
But Steve is also doing his level best to kiss Bucky breathless, and it's getting dark and they should get back but with every kiss, it gets easier and easier to justify it after just one more kiss. And when Bucky's back hits the tree, his skin is already starting to feel flushed and he kinda wants to make Steve moan a little more. And some more after that. And maybe see if he can lick the rest of that taste out of Steve's mouth. Bucky's gonna give it his level best.
He puts his weight back against the tree and winds one ankle around Steve's, his own eyes a little bright as they break apart, if briefly. "How d'you know I'm sure?" Bucky murmurs against Steve's lips, as though they're not already well on their way into an epic makeout session that he's frankly not keen on ending anytime soon. They'll be fine. Nothing's jumped them so far. And the only thing he wants to jump him is Steve.

"I am sure that I'm sorry you had to go a year without this," he says. "I mean. I am a great kisser. And it looks like you're not too badly out of shape at it, either."
