"Oh yeah?" Bucky laughs a little, sliding his hands up to run through Steve's hair, leaning his head back against the three a little because... well, frankly, because he has to, because if Steve's out of breath, Bucky sure isn't faring much better. "Who were you practicing on, while I was gone? Were they cute? They'd better've been cute."
He feels a little warm and tingly - almost like being drunk, but if he were drunk on Steve. Because that's what it feels like - like touching Steve is the key here, and Steve sure as hell seems to be pretty obliging.
Even if some of that good twists into bittersweetness, when Steve says how much he missed him. Bucky's fingers tighten a little in Steve's hair - not stopping him from what he's doing, because part of him knows they shouldn't be doing this shit out here, but part of him really doesn't care. Part of him wants to give Steve everything, just as much as it doesn't want Steve to stop touching him. He never wants Steve to stop touching him, and he never wants to let Steve go again.
So he lets Steve keep going, even as he murmurs, "I'm sorry, Stevie. I'm right here. And I never wanted to disappear out from underneath you."
He kind of laughs then, arches a little into Steve's fingers, as if to try and "help" him with that zipper. "I mean. Underneath you's pretty good right now, huh?"
Steve is not the only one in this relationship with terrible lines, apparently.
But at least he's sober enough to ask, "You got a plan, star-spangled man?"
