Instinctively, Steve wants to say 'no'. It lets Bucky off the hook and prolongs his first foray into this brand of intimacy. For a second, it looks as though Steve really is going to tell Bucky to stop. He sits up and grabs Bucky's wrist tight. But...the truth is that he does want this. He wants to know what it feels like and he wants every single piece of Bucky he can have. His cheeks flare a light red before Steve is leaning forward and kissing his boyfriend lightly. He's still conscious of where his mouth just was and how a deeper kiss may be a bit too much for both of them.

"I want it," he admits. It almost feels wrong, admitting to wanting something for himself. But Steve smiles and leans back onto his elbows, where he'd been before. "I... Just meant to say you didn't have to, just because I did. But if you want to... Then. Yeah. Yeah, I.... Yeah."

That's about all he can manage to say on the subject but even that was a feat in if itself. Steve tries a smirk but it just comes out a little queasy looking from the nerves in his stomach. Absurd, considering there was nothing now that he needed to do. But still, emotions were emotions.
