Once there's enough distance between them that Steve won't get splashed, Katara pops the cap off of her waterskin. With a sweeping gesture of her hand, a stream of water flows out of the pouch like a sinuous liquid snake. It loops into a ring and then twists into a figure-eight.
"Bending is using your chi to manipulate the elements. Where I'm from, there are four kinds of benders: earth, water, fire, and air."
