Crazy was not something Marc wanted to talk about. His thoughts were running parallel to Steven's, but for how unbelievable any of it sounded, it was hard to call the kid a liar. That was the worst of it really.

It was terribly convenient to think that things would be just where they left it whenever they got back. If they got back.
