Welcome to November. It's time for our monthly OOC announcements.

✧ MONTHLY NOTES ✧
Our October IC Announcement post will go up later today with minor notes on setting changes. This will be brief this month as changes will be minor.

This month players will be seeing a few event posts, with two already live. Firstly the Agrii have contacted He Rows and you will be able to speak to them. They might have more to tell you about the gathering they are hosting, and you can pressure them for information if you wish to. Your mileage may very with results to the investigations.

Secondly the Agrii did collect and 'improve' the replicator and that has some effects that you can play with. This is very much a part of November events and we encourage players to embrace this for all their hoarding or shenanigan needs. If you have questions, please ask us for clarification, but beyond the most set rules of 'no living creatures' and 'no weapons or energy crystals' you will be able to get away with a good bit more in this month than normal. This replication issue takes place from November 7th through the 14th and one He Row will have to step in and fix the thing. Please see this comment to offer an Engineer character for repairs.

As for the Great Full feast, that will take place on November 9th. The Mod-Posted Mingle will go up at approximately 8 AM CST (2 PM UTC). Characters will be welcome to make their own Top-Levels on this post, or to make their own separate logs. Remember that an Open Top-level on a mingle with clear attempts at follow ups counts as AC for the month, just like any Open Log/Network post would be.

We do remind players that you can now request contact with the Funfronds or Barrys in the future. A new form has been added to the Player Plot and Adventure page to help players request NPC interaction.

✧ NEW TICK IS COMING ✧
Yes, players, we know that the year is winding to a close. As such we wanted to let you know that we are aware that means New Tick. The event went so well last year that we want to make sure that there is some success in the coming year as well. There will be more fun and games to be had this January, with the Agrii helping to solidify New Tick as a tradition on Agra-10, and that allowing not only more gifts, but building up what that means for characters.

Later this month a post not unlike last year's will go up asking for your player wishlists for character gifts. Rules will be made clear at that time, though expect most of the previous 'items cannot be' rules to still apply. Take the time now to start thinking about what you might ask for, and remember that it doesn't necessarily have to be something the character would like. These are the Agrii giving gifts, and they might not know that a certain prize possession is more infuriating than welcomed.

In addition, we would like to see He Rows contributing to the plans for New Tick. When we put up the page for players to turn in their gift request lists, we will be encouraging players to also suggest what booths/food/games/creations their He Rows might make to contribute to New Tick Day celebrations. Or, if they wish, to expand the celebrations past just a single day. Perhaps the He Rows want to set up their own winter fair, and this could be the time. So let the ideas start percolating, we'll be asking you for them soon.

Finally, we'll be opening up these gifts to any player who joins the game prior to the cut-off date for the gift and celebration ideas lists, which is likely to be December 24th. So if you're going to enable new players/characters to the game, don't forget to tell them that as part of the New Year, their characters might almost immediately get some treat or gift from home back into their possession. It's like a second item brought with them (and if they list you as a referal, you get your own bonuses too!).
