"That's what the pokedex says, anyway. To me he's my number one good buddy, right Pikachu?" He asks, turning to his partner.

"Piika!" Pikachu says proudly, happily rubbing against Ash's face. Both of them sober quickly at that last comment though.

"Stuck huh?" Ash pulls on his cap and mutters something about Giratina and Palkia but shakes it off. "Ya know, normally, I'm always up for a new adventure, but since I was kinda taking some time off after my last journey, I don't even have my backpack with me." It's probably still sitting on the floor in his room back in Pallet.

"Well, it's nice to meet ya, anyway."
