Leaving questions about mysteriously appearing clothing aside, the coat, veil, and midriff-baring top are all unceremoniously taken off right there and then. The sweatshirt is then quickly pulled on, with Link keen to spend as little time unclothed as possible.
Even with the quick change, however, if Gladio's paying close attention he'll notice additional evidence in support of his soldier theory. Link bears the kind of scars that one would expect from an warrior, the remnants of past battles. Some, however, look considerably nastier - looking more like a laser burn than anything you'd expect from a traditional weapon.
"I can buy a house?" Link asks then, as he sets all his discarded clothes on the table. He does like having a house, and if he doesn't have his pack he's going to need somewhere to put his things...
