Oh come on, it's brutal to leave a speedster hanging on an unfinished sentence. Just plain rude. But he nods. Timelines are important to not spoil lives with. But it looks like he's the one that gets to bite the bullet this time, instead of Billy. And perhaps instead of Aunt Lorna. There really aren't as many of them here as Tommy could stand to see. Still, he guesses he gets the man's point and once Calvin closes his eyes he moves.

Frankly, another person might dump the guy over a cliff. He's a bit of a mess to have to deal with. But Tommy? Tommy gets second chances. Third chances. Seventh chances. Everyone gets one with him before he will drop them off a cliff. Except absolute unrepentant asshole villains. And he guesses this guy doesn't count as one because he's done the good thing before.

So it's like three steps and he's away from where they are and bursting through the doors of the hospital, just like that. Long enough to speedster senses, but still fast.
