Ben Paul | Telltale's The Walking Dead

[Arrival]

[It was like waking up from a bad dream. One minute, Ben's standing on a rickety balcony of an apartment that gave way to let him fall. The next, he's laying back up against a broken fountain surrounded by a city that, if he had a hunch in his half-awake and panicked young mind, was definitely not Savannah. As the teen raised off the ground, his attention is brought to the odd floating sphere above his head that, for some reason, he just couldn't ignore the voice in his head to touch the glowy object. Because randomly grabbing objects have always turned out so well for him.

What followed was something traveling into his head. Like a million neurons sending trillions upon trillions of electrons to his brain, filling him with strange information that he could barely comprehend. By the end of acquiring the new information, Ben was left shuddering and stammering, with more questions than answers.

First the living undead, now abducted in some sci-fi city. Ben Paul, what have you gotten yourself into?]

Hello! Lee? Kenny? Anyone?

[He'd call out, awaiting for an answer back, to see hopefully someone familiar. Though there was a feeling in his gut that tells him he'd have an easier time finding a cure for whatever caused the dead to start walking.]

[Hangar]

[So far, the search for anyone else has been fruitless. Sure, it was hard finding people, good people at that, during the apocalypse. But he was with Lee and the rest trying to find Clementine! People don't just up and blip out of existence to end up God knows where! Right? And with how massive this city was, finding people felt like a fool's errand. Ben was walking around the unfamiliar city trying to familiarize himself to it, and definitely not taking a nervous glance over his shoulder every two or three seconds to make sure no walkers were going to pop out and chow down on him.

They say walking around to get fresh air is a good way to calm your nerves, but right now, Ben's nerves are shot through the roof. It doesn't help that the lay out of some land were covered in harden rock, as if large pools of lava cooled over it recently. Ben took a turn to continue walking in search of answers and-]

Ow! What the-?

[-walked face first into a forcefield. Maybe it's a good thing no one's around to see him get up close and personal with the dome. Hopefully. Ben'd rub his aching noggin and looked up, seeing the strange and reflective surface of the barrier staring right back at him. Transfixed by the bizarre sight, Ben slowly got up and approached, holding out his hand to try and touch it.]

What's going on here..?

[Network]

[Guess who finally decided to not be a nervous wreck and checked his pockets and found the device stuff in his coat? This guy!]

Hello? Please tell me I'm not all alone here.
