When she gets there, Max does lean over to look in the hole.

"Shit!" She gives him wide eyes and a whole bunch of youthful disapproval at the startle.

"You're just asking for the ceiling to cave in," Max scolds Eddie, but keeps going forward, apparently curious, now that she's here. She steps forward, tests floorboards before she proceeds.

"Where are you staying in this lovely city, anyway?"
