"Well," Max breathes out, heavily. "Two of them I know, because they've already died in my time. I saw both of them. I guess they ended up here just before they actually die in their time. The other one I know because someone from a little later on than me told me."

She nods her head. "But they're alive here. And yeah. It's a lot of time fuckery. And mind fuckery in general."

Max gives a shrug of her shoulder. "Then be better. Besides, regardless of what she deserves, if she wants you, doesn't that count more?"

She heads into the building with a smile.
