He would be incredibly touched to know anyone thought he seemed genuine. So much of who he was was posturing and rumors and the tough front he usually put up. But right now, he was relaxed and much closer to his true self than usual. All it took was someone being nice to him.

He pulled his own network device out, pocketing his flashlight for now to free his hands. Patience wasn't normally his strong suit, but he was surprisingly patient while he went over the various functions and how to use them, in addition to what they did. He didn't even mind if he had to repeat or rephrase certain things.
