Max doesn't have very much relationship experience, and considering her merry-go-round ride with Lucas, she probably shouldn't talk, either, but watching her mom with her boyfriends - and then especially Neil - she thinks she can at least speak to that.

"Yeah. That's how it is, sometimes. And sometimes you have to leave."
