Steve nods. She knows about Vecna which puts her on the timeline Steve is from as well. Saying that he hadn't done anything yet though means she's from before his endpoint. Most everyone is from Hawkins so far: Steve and Robin have seen the most of the fallout and mess that gets created. As much as he'd love to have more people to commiserate about it, he's privately pretty pleased she hasn't gone through it yet.
