Fall Test Drive Meme!

TEST DRIVE
Application FAQ | Taken Characters | Reserves | Application
Welcome to the Fall Test Drive for The Revival Project!
For those who do not know, this game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about what this game is about, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.
Starting on the 7th, the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.
If you are a Drift Fleet alumni, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level so we know. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! The only option not allowed is to completely restart your character (because then it's not DFAU, is it?)
So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!
Please use either the first event or the previous TDM for prompt ideas!

Never one to forget a voice, her lips form a smile almost immediately. One foot stomps on the ground, a rock jutting up behind her to press against her back just to stop Katara from bowling her over!]
Katara! You're here?! [ It's as pleasant a surprise as one can get. Toph manages to wrap her arms around Katara right back, giving a quick squeeze. ] Where's everyone else?
no subject
After she’s satisfied with their hug, she pulls back and gives Toph a once-over to make sure she’s okay. ]
It’s just the two of us, for better or worse. There are other people here but they aren’t from our world. There’s too much to explain all at once, but I’m so glad to see you. What happened back home? You were with Sokka and Suki—are they okay? Did you manage to stop the airships?
no subject
'Our world'? What do you mean? This isn't the earth kingdom, that's for sure... [All things considered, she's doing okay. Things got dicey up on the fire nation ships, but here she is, still kicking around. ] We stopped them alright! You should have seen it, I bent a ship almost in half!...
[ A pause from her boasting. ]
Sokka and Suki did some cool stuff too. But yeah... we made it out. What happened to you and Aang? And Zuko? We were just coming to pick you up on an airship when... Well.
[ She gestures around her. ]

[ The news that everyone made it out okay is a huge relief to her, though she gives a shrug at the next question. ]
I haven't seen Aang. Did he never show up to fight Ozai? As for me and Zuko, we fought Azula and we won, but she shot him with lightning. I'd only just finished getting him stable before I was brought here.

[ She does pause to take it all in though, she can't be bothered saving that much face around Katara. Her head bobs once more, stomping on the ground to pop up two rock seats for them to sit on and taking hers.
There's a brief frown of concern when she mentions Zuko's injury, dropping her chin into her palm and puffing her bangs to one side. ]
I think so? We were pretty busy with the airships, Sokka said he could see them in the distance.
I leave him alone for one day... He's okay though, right? He didn't come here with you?

I'm sure he'll be fine... He's almost as tough as he pretends to be.
So, what have you been doing here then?
no subject
That sounds about right, but I guess you know how I can worry.
[ She laughs again, this time in a slightly more self-deprecating way, and then she sighs. ]
There's a greenhouse here where a ton of plants grow, and I've been helping keep things watered so everyone has food. It's the tallest building I've ever seen. You can probably feel it, off to your left. I've been exploring, too, but there's still a lot more that I haven't looked into. Plenty of stuff for your feet to see.

[ One eyebrow raises, keeping her usual smug act on. By now, Katara's probably figured out that she's mostly teasing at least. ]
Honestly, you guys are always lost without me. Do you need some help getting through this place? Mostly feels like earth and metal, to me.
no subject
[ Katara scoffs a little at Toph's accusation, but there's a truth to it. Toph can sense things that none of them can, and she makes sure they don't forget it.
In this place, it's not a bad thing, though, and Toph's skills will certainly come in handy. ]
I definitely want to do some more exploring, and it'd be great to have you come along with me. Are you hungry, though? Or thirsty? Or hurt at all?
no subject
[ Her arms streeetch out, landing back on her hips and leaning back with a smile. The seats are a good hint, otherwise, she'd be standing. ]
I'm fine... but honestly pretty beat. I didn't get long to rest after the airships before I ended up here. What kind'a food is around?
no subject
[ Not that Katara couldn't kill an animal with her bending, but she's been so busy with tending the greenhouse that there hasn't really been time to plan any hunting trips. ]
Come with me and I'll take you inside the greenhouse. We'll get you some food and then find a place where you can rest up.
no subject
[ Not that she's super fussed, food is food after all. With a light heft, she rises to her feet, giving Katara a moment to do the same before the rock seats sink back down into the ground. Better stand fast! ]
I can do shelter just fine, remember? But lead the way, oh great greenhouse keeper~
no subject
[ At least, if they had, they hadn't behaved quite as erratically as Sokka had on his cactus trip. Katara hops up off her seat and dusts off the back of her tunic. ]
I know you can make your earth tents, but do you really want to live in one of those for the foreseeable future?
[ She leads Toph into the greenhouse and up to the floor where her favorite fruits are growing. There's a fragrant sort of smell in the air, tropical and mossy. There's soil underfoot, and metal below that, and what is actually probably plexiglass all around.
Katara brings Toph to the foot of a tree and uses her bending to bring down some fruit. ]
Here you go. Eat up.
no subject
[ Indeed, Turning the tent into a full-blown mansion wasn't outside the range of possibilities... But she doesn't want a mansion.
She does follow without too much fuss though, more curious than anything else. Strong senses take a moment, a deep breath as the smell of food hits her. She holds her hand out, waiting for the fruit and simply taking it with a smile before chomping into it with the lack of manners she's practiced quite a bit. ]
Mmh- Not bad. What do 'ya call this, anyway? Doesn't quite... taste like any fruit I've had before.
no subject
At least Toph seems to like the fruit. Katara gives a little shrug in response to her question. ]
We've just been making up names for all the plants, but I don't think anyone has come up with one for that yet. It has a little bit of a lychee flavor to it, don't you think?
no subject
[ Hardly the most creative name, but look, she's kinda beat, it's the best she's got for now. Once again she finds a seat, this time just dropping to the floor and tapping along with her feet while she eats.
The building is probably the most interesting thing around... The metal's purer than the stuff the fire nation usually made, and there was so much glass! ]
So... We're just here now? [ Once she's done eating, her tone drops a little, settling in the familiar, private company of just the two of them. ] Who runs the place?... Does anyone?
