TEST DRIVE
Application FAQ | Taken Characters | Reserves | Application
Welcome to the Fall Test Drive for The Revival Project!
For those who do not know, this game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about what this game is about, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.
Starting on the 7th, the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.
If you are a Drift Fleet alumni, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level so we know. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! The only option not allowed is to completely restart your character (because then it's not DFAU, is it?)
So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!
Please use either the first event or the previous TDM for prompt ideas!

Lt. Dopheld Mitaka | Star Wars
Arrival
It's been longer than he's realized since he's been stood planetside, and that's almost as disorienting as the whole situation itself. The difference in gravity, the uneven terrain, the oxygen percentage- it all leaves Dopheld feeling a little more unsteady then he'd like when he's trying to come to grips with having been plucked away by some unknown race.
He's never heard of the Agrii, or this world. The stars he can make out look unfamiliar to any charts he knows, and while he may not be the most important cog in the machine of the First Order, he likes to think his absence may have some effect.
Backing away from the data point, Dopheld frowns softly, eyes skirting about, acutely aware of his footing being a bit more unstable than he'd like.
"...What the Kriff is going on?"
Video
[Unsure of where allegiances might lay here, Dopheld has removed the top layer of his uniform, and tried to comb out his hair from the strict pushed back style, not wanting to immediately out himself as an officer of the First Order until he learns more.
He's been careful to frame himself in such a way that it betrays little of his current location, and when he speaks there is a clear imperial accent to his voice for those who may recognize it.]
...Hello. I was hoping someone might be able to inform me as to the current...political leanings of this place? And if there were a ship, or long range communications available. It's rather urgent that I return...home.

Arrival
At least that has been Altair's experience. They're here for a reason, sure, but what he's seen of the Agrii so far has not exactly been promising. Still, the appearance of a new person is something he takes note of, especially one using that word, and with that accent.
"You alright there? You don't seem quite steady."
Not that he can see him, but he can sense him. And what he can sense isn't necessarily balanced.
"Perhaps it'd be best if you sat down for a moment."
no subject
"I'm fine," he starts, pausing as he takes Altair in, gaze lowering to meet his eyeline. Ah. He gives a soft frown, trying to place the figure. He hasn't had much exposure to non humans since joining the First Order, but something about him seems to hit certain checkboxes in his mind. "...All things considered."
Dopheld's gaze drifts to the familiar weapon Altair carries, and his shoulders stiffen. "...I need to speak with these...overlords."
no subject
"And good luck with that. You can request things of them, every once in a while, but anything substantial so far as contacting them? I certainly wouldn't hold my breath for fear of turning blue-- well. Bluer."
He shrugs his shoulders, "Honestly I don't think they even understand us that well."
no subject
"Right. Not ideal." Languages were something he did alright with in the Academy. He'd graduated with top marks, but still, he doesn't feel especially confident in his ability to convince them to return him home if he can't effectively communicate with them.
He observes the other again and then offers, "...I'm Lieutenant Mitaka. I suppose you must be from the Outer Rim as well, given your accent?"
no subject
"A pleasure, Lieutenant, despite the circumstances," He puts a hand to his chest, and gives a slight bow in a polite greeting.
"... I am called Kallig and... I suppose I am. Originally, at least."
Whether or not they're even from the same time or world though, that he doubts. After all, anyone from where he's from would likely recognize him as a Dark Lord of the Council.
no subject
"You suppose?" he asks, arching a brow, "Has it been so long you've forgotten?"
no subject
As a slave, he hadn't really thought of it that much, much too focused on other things to be concerned with where the planet he was on was located. Not really as an adult, either. Of course, as an adult, he'd come to think of Dromund Kaas as home, rather than the planet he'd just so happened to be born on, and Dromund Kaas at least was the heart of his Empire.
"I didn't really think much about it while I lived there."
no subject
"...Forgive me, but...is that a lightsaber you're carrying?"
no subject
"It is, yes."
A dualsaber, to be specific, though he hardly felt the need to get into the semantics when a simple yes was enough.
no subject
"And that would make you..." He trails off, as though afraid to really voice it aloud.
no subject
Not uncommon, he supposed, for someone familiar with Sith. After all, many Sith were so aggressive that it burned away all reason, everything that made a person a person, until only anger and a desire to inflict violence upon others was left.
Altair was not one of those Sith. Not usually anyway.
"I am Sith," He said, "Though you have nothing to fear from me."
no subject
"...I thought there were no more Sith?"
no subject
Altair wonders if there's anything he can do to settle his fear- probably not. Not right away. A Sith having to prove he has good intentions is nothing new though- however unusual it is, it's not an impossibility. It's happened before. Even Sith have to prove their good intentions to other Sith every once in a while.
"As I said though, you've nothing to fear from me. We're all in this strange little community together, and we should all know better than to go around making enemies, no?"
no subject
He nods though, giving a soft hum. "That would seem to be in our best interests, yes."
no subject
He'd like to know, much like he wants to know about anything and everything. But the Agrii don't seem keen on sharing, at least not the details about their abduction, anyway. Another thing about them that annoys Altair to no end.
"It's good that you're reasonable about it. In this uncertain situation, our ability to work together is paramount."
no subject
"There doesn't seem much point in being anything but reasonable," he offers with a faint shrug. More could be achieved working together, and he was hardly in a position attempt any sort of take over.
no subject
"... At least I think that was the year. I very rarely paid attention to such things."
After all, he had more important things to think about- as a slave he hadn't cared, as a Sith he'd been keeping his mind on things other than the date.
"I suppose there doesn't seem to be, no. I certainly won't be starting any squabbles."
He had mixed feelings on the whole situation itself, but carefully hid them from view. Before he responded he made sure his expression was neutral and his voice it's usual cool demeanor.
However as he was about to speak Millicent decided to climb onto his shoulder and make her presence known and gave a meow. He tried his best to ignore her for the time being. She would eventually learn.]
Greetings, Lt. Mitaka. I must say I am surprised to see that you have arrived here as well. I will be attaching my coordinates to where we can talk better in person. The Agri are always watching. I will be expecting an update on what has been going back home.
Sir- [He blinked in surprise, gaze briefly distracted by the appearance of...was that a cat? He only allowed himself to be distracted for a short moment before nodding resolutely, reaching to school his hair back.]
Y-yes Sir. Of course.
[He wanted to say more, that need was plain on his face, but this wasn't a secure line or means of communication, Hux was right.]
A few minutes later, Hux stood at the location, he sent Mitaka too waiting for the young man. Millicent sat next to him, curious and wanting to know what was going on, but she sat still and waited as well. She could sense her human's emotions and knew something important was going on.]
[Action]
None of this made any sense. Hux shouldn't be here. He hadn't been missing any period of time, and here he was, seemingly settled in this place? His gaze flit again to the cat, before coming to stand at parade rest before Hux, gaze exploring. Let him make sense of all this.]
Sir. Is it safe to speak here?
[Action]
The people here have control over who they bring and who they send back. They seem to have an ability to deal with time and different worlds. Not just within our galaxy, but other worlds.
For quite some time I had been part of a group called the Fleet, but only when we thought we were able to go home....many of us wound up here. My time with the Fleet is another story to tell at a different time.
I imagine that you believe I have never left. So I am quite curious to know what you last recall before arriving to this world. I will in turn explain more to the various questions I believe you already have.
[Action]
He bit his tongue to keep from interjecting before Hux was finished, though his brow furrowed, the creased lessening when Hux covered that inconsistency himself.
He nodded, considering his words a moment.]
You were there only moments ago. We had tracked down the last of the Resistance to Crait. But...they escaped, and the Supreme Leader was- ah- [His eyes skirted away, not particularly sure how to phrase it.] ...Assassinated. And Lord Ren assumed his place.
