A crime: the third!

You know the drill by now, and if you don't, you can get a refresher at the first crime post, or the second!

Billy and Stu are at it again, and their tactic has evolved to try to finally actually get a murder out of this.

The victims* in this case were lured in broad daylight by the sound of screaming, into a building that was covered in an accelerant. The screaming was coming from a communication device. Once inside, someone started a fire, and closed the door behind them.

*Some of those victims have been predetermined, and to my understanding should include Keith, Radley and Donnie. Because this is a more open group event, you can also join the fire party if you speak up quickly here.

As before, feel free to get involved in any way! Those guys might need immediate help, then someone needs to figure out what just happened.

Use this post to ask any questions you need to assist in your investigation! There's plenty of information your character might have picked up from this incident, just let me know what they're looking for and capable of!

Leo will have cause to go investigate after Donnie doesn't check in when he gets to the garden, so Leo is an option for rescue! But I don't want to step on any toes for other rescuers or to cut anything short that the victims want to do, so I'll leave it up to the vics + other interested parties if we go that route.

Depending on how hurt Donnie is after this he probably won't be too involved in the immediate investigation after, but he miiiiight make a very angry network post soon |'D

Sephiroth would definitely try to help in the rescue if he can, but since I also play Radley I also don't want to step on any toes or hog things or take away from anyone else who wants to join the rescue, so Seph's role may or may not be handwaved. He may or may not be a suspect given he has fire powers (but he's also way taller than the real naughty boys seen in the video footage of them, so that might let him off the hook).

I'd still rather Radley wasn't laid up long, especially since I want to play him more actively again, but on the other hand it is appealing to think of him being able to do something heroic, like protecting one of the others from falling debris or finding the exit out, so we'll see what plays out. If anyone has any ideas involving him and their characters, I'm game to hear them. :)

Welp. Keith's in trouble. Haha. He'll definitely be beat up after this, but I'm not looking to have him horribly maimed or anything. Probably laid up for a bit, and now without his husband to help him get better. He's gonna be super pissy.

Anyway, I'm up for plotting stuffs for during and after!

lmao no don't worry, it does smell a little weird, doesn't it? Turns out its very sweet and a little...burny.
I don't know if Donnie would have tasted it before, but if he has, he'd recognize the red juice right away. If he tastes enough, maybe he'll get a little drunk!

EDIT!!: very belatedly it has occurred to me to note, in case the connection wasn't made, that this stuff is highly flammable. So, if you do happen to be sticking your hands in it, putting it on your face, that's about as smart as playing with lighter fluid in this situation. Good luck to your face!
