Hello all, and happy July!

June was another AC-free month; in lieu of posting AC, we are asking that all players (new and old) please check in via this post. All we need is a brief comment to let us know you're still here. Characters/players on hiatus are exempt (unless you wish to check in; feel free!).

Because we've had some player (and character) losses and additions, we're also asking that you please provide your character's expertise (if they have one) in your check-in comment as well. If you're thinking of having them switch expertise between the end of Calibrations (July 10) and the next event, which will likely start mid- to late July, list the expertise they'll hold at the start of the next event. So, if your character currently has Engineering but you want them to have switched to Medical before the next event starts, list Medical as their expertise in your check-in comment. Same goes for new characters who don't have an expertise yet - if your character will have an expertise by the time the next event starts, go ahead and list that now.

You can find more info about Data Points here. Remember that characters can switch expertise at will by touching the relevant Data Point, but can have only one expertise at a time. Expertise is not required; your character can opt not to have one, no problem.

Hopefully that's all clear, but let us know if you have questions! As a reminder, July will require half our normal AC and we'll go back up to full AC requirements in August. You can find the regular AC info here. Hiatuses and other exemptions are still, of course, possible. If you have any AC concerns in the coming months, please reach out to the mods.
