The illusion doesn't last, but it's enough of a sign of the level of magic Loki has available to him that Constantine doesn't doubt that he's an extremely powerful magician outside of their current circumstances.

"John Constantine. Starting to think I'm in over my head if you're stuck here as well." But they were in it together, regardless the situation, and Constantine takes a look around the area. He can't make walls from the air itself, but in a way that's an advantage. He's used to thinking of more flexible solutions to his problems.
"So you can't make a wall as easily, but what about moving what's already here? The ground here isn't all hard rock, any chance we can shift some of it and block off parts of a more useable spot?"
