A thread on the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.

If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.

Hot Summer Time!

Summer has arrived and you know what that means: It's time to head out and spend some time at the beach, lounging on its bluish, almost purple sand, going for a swim or gathering some of the fat, green lobsters just wandering around the beach. They may be tasty, but remember that their pinch is toxic. It won’t kill you but it will definitely have the pinched body part swelling up and itching like a bad wool sweater.

If hunting for food isn't what you came here for, then sunbathing is always an option. Even if the color seems odd, this sand, also, likes to go literally everywhere.

Simply hopping into the water is also rarely a bad idea. This close to the coast there are no harmful creatures in the water, so whether you brought a swim suit, hop in fully clothed or have no care in the world about who might stumble over you naked, Agra 10's ocean is yours to play in.

Explore the city!

Here's a map and a bit more description of some of the buildings here.

Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working, but power is intermittent and unreliable. What used to be stores or places to live in lies in ruins, but there may still be something to scavenge among the rubble. Do you want to risk a swim in the flooded area that has turned into a deep lake that has yet to be fully explored; or does it draw you to some of the more prominent and partially restored buildings, such as the hotel, the hospital or the amphitheater.

If you are lucky, you might even stumble over The Deep End, the bar located on one of the mid-levels of the tower residences in one of the residence towers. Unfortunately no bright neon signs can lead you there, but it does exist.

Visit the spaceships!

That's right, there are currently several small spaceships grounded in the hangar - Or what remains of them. It's painfully obvious that these ships have crash-landed not too long ago and were taken back to the hangar for repairs. You were assigned to one of them and its doors will open for you and let you enter if you wish. (For test drive purposes, the ship that will let you enter is up to you, so just pick whichever name appeals, and go for it!) The other ships won't open for you, but as neither of them look as if they will be leaving anytime soon that doesn't really matter either way.

Maybe look around anyway. Or try your hand at some repairs?

Try the network!

Upon arrival, your character will have on their person a small, handheld communications device. Maybe they know exactly how to use a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and immediately blast out a text or video trying to figure out what's going on. Or maybe they're not so tech-savvy after all, and everyone is about to get a lovely shot right up your character's left nostril.

There be storms...

These power-altering storms keep ravaging parts of the planet every once in a while. No one truly knows where they come from or what to do about them yet, but one of them appears to be approaching. You have the option to find shelter in one of the buildings to wait for it to pass. Unless, of course, you rather feel drawn to investigate.

Should you step inside the storm, or even get lost in it, it will show ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? Maybe you will simply find yourself calling for help or stumble across another lost soul in need of assistance.

Wildcard!

You're welcome to use any previous test drive scenarios or previous game events as a basis for a thread/situation, or simply make up your own! Keep in mind that you're currently stranded on a planet with only basic necessities, but there is enough food and fresh water. Creature comforts, however, seem to be distinctly lacking. Quite unlike a gathering of potentially dangerous creatures to encounter. The setting is yours to explore and have fun with!

He's wandering, a wanderer, that's what he does.

Beach: The beach is like heaven but he seems a bit distracted as he makes his way through the sand. Something catches his attention and he squats to peer at a blue lobster, getting buffeted a bit by the surf. Taking a banana from his inside pocket, he breaks off the tip.

"You look a little hungry. Have a bit of that." The lobster doesn't seem to keen to take it but its antennae wiggle in curiosity.

The Deep End

The Deep End seems to be in the midst of a bar fight and should you wonder in you'll see the Doctor hanging in the back, hands in his pockets, looking a bit bemused.

"Never insult someone's mustache. Even when he's asking for it." A grin. "Come here often?"

Space Ships

He shouldn't even have been let in, to be honest. At the moment the Doctor is parked under the only ship that would let him in, and is doing...something. Sparks are flying anyway and there is the sound of someone being industrious. There is a metallic sound and something rolls out from under the ship.

"Hope that wasn't important."

Hallo, I'm the Doctor, fellow detainee. Nice to meet you. [he wiggles his fingers] Anyone seen a short nosy blond around who can't stay out of trouble? Asking for a friend.

Beach

It appears that the color of the sandy beach here isn't the only thing that's strange, but perhaps the Warlock can't say too much himself when he looks just as out of place as anything else. However he still feels quite justified to think that watching a man attempting to feed a lobster a banana is reasonably strange, and although she is for the moment unseen, the feeling is mutual with his Ghost.

Can't expect everyone here to be sane, I guess, she opines, her voice sounding in his helmet, and the Warlock can only nod as he watches the man. Perhaps he's just a tiny bit curious as to how successful the lobster feeding will go.

Summer Time
He had not been on a beach in, well, forever! The beach was beautiful, even when compared to the multitude of beaches that he'd seen pictures of through all of human occupied space. Which was why he was there now, stripping slowly out of layers of dark blue armor and leaving them in a careful mound on the beach to try and keep the sand out.

"Oh I hope the water doesn't eat my skin. Only one way to know!"

"Well isn't this adorably small!"

The man moved through the ship, looking it over with a very careful eye. And the careful eye in this case involved his fingers laced into the grate of an air vent and was lifting himself in to look into it. A helmet, a dark shade of blue, laid on the floor nearby where anyone might kick it. But the man was definitely evaluating the size of the thing. Could a full grown, if lean, man crawl into it?

Someone clearly intended to find out.

"I don't believe that's a place people are supposed to be." Even if he wouldn't have fit neatly into the vent, the tiny woman in dyed leather clothing might have. She's less than four feet tall, and has sharply pointed ears and dark eyes that sit neatly between brown and violet in color, not completely unlike the deepest purpleheart wood.

She doesn't quite make a proper approach; a human in armor still reads to her as an inherent threat, and she's unarmed. But the ships should be safe, she knows that much.

Summer Time

The last time Teddy was on a beach he got attacked by dragons. So say he’s a little apprehensive is putting it mildly, plus he doesn’t have his sword. He hadn’t realized how used to it he had become until he went to reach for it and it wasn’t there. Still, he has his powers so he’s not entirely helpless if dragons decide to attack again. He’s really hoping that does not happen this time.

Not one to just idly sit around, especially if he’s not being distracted by his half naked husband, he puts himself to work gathering fat green lobsters.

“These guys are kinda cute.” He finds himself saying right before one decides to pinch his finger. “Ow. Maybe not.”

Spaceships

“Well, definitely not in Kansas anymore.” To say these ships were different than the Alliance’s fleet was an understatement. He stepped into the ship he was assigned to and looked around. “I think I’m getting spoiled in my old age.”

It reminded him of Noh-Var’s ship only…much more run down. But beggars can’t be choosers and from what he understands of this place they were lucky they even had ships to begin with. He walks inside further, letting himself get acquainted with the ship.

Hot Summer Time!

[ Alberto hasn't yet wrapped his mind around the fact he's woken up in a whole different world without a clear explanation - magic, it can only be magic, what else?- and both frightening and exciting. He's trying to distract himself from the fact he's been torn away from everything and anyone he knows, going to the closest thing to a familiar place he could find: the ocean.

As strange and upsetting as this new place is, at last, some things are still the same, and the water brings a certain amount of comfort to the merfolk boy. Those at the beach might have been told there are no creatures in the water but if they pay attention, in the right time they might spot a dark, long shadow moving through the water, or even a long tail with a purple fin breaking the surface. try to get a closer look? Throw something at him? He's good at dodging when the latter happens.

Sometime later, Alberto steps out of the water in what he hopes is a secluded enough area of the beach, carrying a large lobster he just fished. He shakes himself dry like a dog and the purple scales in his body immediately retreat, leaving tanned skin in its place. The tail disappears completely, so do the fins on the back of his legs and arms. The ones at the side of his head become a pair of human-looking ears, and the fins on top of his head change into brown, curly hair.

Unfortunately, while he's focusing on looking human as fast as possible, the green lobster decides to take that as its chance to escape, and it's running across the sand. Alberto notices the moment he goes to pick it up again. ]


Ey! You, come back here! [ The kid starts chasing the lobster, running after it and not really looking where he's going, swatting at the thing in his attempt to catch it. Chances are that he's going to run headfirst into someone's legs, either knocking them down and falling back on his ass in the process. That, if the lobster doesn't pinch someone else first. Sorry about that. ]

[ Look, this kid barely knows how to write and read, he's possibly even holding the communicator upside down. Using this sort of tech is beyond him, but hell if he's not going to keep trying. He's seen other people push buttons to make this thing work, so that's how his first attempt went. Time for a second one. He wants to find a way to call can call Luca, Massimo...someone. So more buttons are being pushed, this time waaay more slowly. ]

Omega // Star Wars - The Bad Batch

Summer??
It's easy to be distracted by new sights when you've spent all your life on a city of platforms surrounded by water. She's tried very hard to think like her squad would, but no one's ever given her any tips for what to do when you found yourself kidnapped by aliens who just wanted you to help them fix their home. Personally she thinks they could have made a better choice in that department.

For now? She's found her way to the beach, staring out at the waves that rush up on the shore. She's a small thing, wearing something that looks like it could be a uniform, a long-sleeved fitted tunic and pants. Strapped behind her is some kind of folded contraption that one wouldn't be wrong to guess might be a weapon.

"Wow...!" So entranced is she by the waves as she kicks at the water and stoops down to run her fingers through the purplish sand, that she's completely oblivious to one of those giant green lobsters meandering close by.


Hangar
A part of her hopes to find the Omicron-class shuttle in the hangar once she realizes there's such a place. She tries to be discreet about it, especially after some previous trouble, even though a part of her reasons that the likelihood of anyone looking for her here is slim, both a relief and a reminder that she's alone.

She sneaks about, taking cover behind crates as she makes her way towards the strange ships. It's turned into something of a game, and she figures it wouldn't hurt to practice while she tries to scope things out.


Storm!
She's seen storms before, but this is a first, being stuck in the middle of one. It's absolutely terrifying, the excitement of the experience quickly wearing off in favor of finding a place to hide. She ducks beneath the overhang of an old building, huddling there for the moment since her attempt to open the door there had only given her a bruised shoulder. Hugging her arms around herself, she tries to peer out past the falling, wind-whipped rain.

"I-is someone out there?" Blinking, the girl pushes back her soggy bangs as she tries to make out what she thought was movement in the midst of the storm.

[The view is an all too close one of golden-brown eyes, but thankfully the user holds her tablet back and away from her. She offers an awkward smile, a child that probably hasn't quite reached her teens.]

Hello..! Um. I hope there's someone out there. My name's Omega.

[She gives a shy little wave with her greeting, her voice accented, with a slighter tendency of emphasis on the vowels she speaks.]

I guess I'm the only one from my squad here. I haven't been on my own before, but I guess this is...kind of like a mission? I...don't know what I can do about it, but... I want to help, if I can.

i. arrival

[The thing is that at first, Ronan is amused by the idea of it all more than anything else. The glowing orbs, the way the information slides directly into his head-- it's dream logic, and that means it's familiar, and there's that certainty that he'll wake up in his own bed, with the same family and same best-friend as every other day of his life. But he can't make himself wake up. And something about this place feels... it doesn't feel like a dream, not something he can twist into the shape that he wants. One hour turns into three, and that initial thrill and curiosity that drives him to explore fades into slow realization:

He's alone. He doesn't know how to get home. He's alone, and he's never really been alone in his life.

So if you don't run across him in the initial rush- laughing and bright, dark brown hair falling into bright blue eyes as he throws himself into exploring the spaces that spread out from the fountain, then headlong into the underbrush- maybe you find him later. After the realization hits, splitting him open. First circling back, tracing his steps, trying to get the fountain to send him back... but that just leaves him very wet.

Eventually he just finds a wall, something cement and steady, something that seems like it wont break. Something to withstand the terrible force of this strange sort of grief -- loss that bubbles into anger.

Leather jacket hanging to dry, a surprisingly good boxing stance on a boy that can't be out of his teens. He's tall but still growing into it, probably a welterweight. Maybe a little heavier for the muscles in his shoulders that flex under the wet tank top that clings to his body like a second skin. He slams his fists into whatever he's found that seems sturdy enough to hold him; he hits hard and he does not break his hand.

Don't think about the fact that it hurts.

It's hesitation that damns people. His father taught him early to accept the consequences before he threw a punch... His father, his mother, his brothers, his best-friend. They all feel lost beyond his reach, and that leaves him empty, and he fills that space up with anger because it's easier than anything else. His knuckles skinned, but the surface doesn't give, so he doesn't stop. There's something wild about him, but it's a wildness that speaks to the absence in the space beside him, in the world he's found himself in.

Every punch carries a weight that speaks to a shadow that would catch his hands, and pull him in a direction less self-destructive. Maybe you decide to stop him anyway, even if you're not who he's expecting. Maybe you find him later, back pressed to a wall, tears in his eyes as he tries to still the sound, picking bits of rock from his hands with his teeth. In the end, everything gives a little. He hears a sound and looks up, scrubbing at his eyes with his palms.]

Who's there?

[His voice is wary but not scared, chin lifted in bright-eyed defiance. Maybe you find him later still, wrapping his hands with a salvaged strip of fabric. Whatever, he's fine. Ronan has always been a barely contained bundle of emotions, but back home these were bright things more often than not.]


ii. exploration

[Exploration comes next, after the tantrum. After pouring his anger and hurt and disquiet loss into throwing his body at something that can withstand it. Without his family or his single friend, he doesn't have the words for his feelings anymore, so he was left saying them the only way he knew how- letting them vibrate through his body.

This isn't the exploration of careless exuberance and laughter. This is quiet, a sharp-eyed teen trying to catch his bearings now that he's sort of on his feet. Even if every glimpse of his reflection that has always looked too much like his father's just reminds him of it all over again. Gone-gone-gone. Alone. They'd been a family bound by secrets, by magic and so much love they all overflowed with it. Few outsiders had ever seen the Barns, tucked away in the Virginia hills at the end of a twisted road. Only one person had ever stayed, ever felt like home, like a piece Ronan hadn't known he was missing until he'd found it. Gansey. Gone too.

He picks up something that feels heavy enough to be aerodynamic and hurls it into the space, letting it bounce and clatter around the ruined theater. He walks on the backs of the benches, more graceful than most people would assume from Ronan and long limbs he needs another year or so to grow into. He almost seems disappointed when nothing pops out of the shadows, heaving a breath as he runs a hand through the curls that hang in his face.

It's sunset.

He doesn't know what to do with this place. Every beat of his heart says not a dream, and if it's not a dream, how does he get back? Eventually he throws himself onto one of the benches with a feral sort of snarl, though his eyes are hurt more than angry, uncertainty.]

This is so fucked.

][He kicks the bench in front of him once, twice, and then again, flings his head back to look at the ceiling, tasting evening on his lips, but nothing familiar. It should be morning. He should be taking his dad's BMW to drive over to Monmouth and help Gansey clean out more of the junk that still filled its walls. Maybe when he got back he'd even apologize to his older brother for the stupid fight they had a couple nights before. Hug his mother and let her tell him one of the stories she's been telling him since he was small. But he doesn't know how to get back to a place where those things can happen.

He didn't know how to rebuild this world, he didn't even know how to rebuild his own life in this place. He pulls a small gold cross from under his shirt, rubbing it between his fingers, like he can conjure his father's smile, his Irish accent, just by doing so. He can't help thinking that this feels like his fault.

He balls his leather jacket up under his head and looks like he might just sleep there on the bench. He doesn't.]


iii. spaceships!

[Of course, he hears the word spaceship and there's only so long he can stay away. It's fantastical enough that even if by this point he's sure it's not a dream, it gives it an edge of the familiar. This is his dreams brought to life, and that's familiar too. His moods see-saw, almost okay with it then wanting to rage at the sky. This is one of the better moments, where even when he sees his father's face in the metal paneling, the only reaction it sparks is a thought that he needs to get his long hair cut-- shave it off so he doesn't think of him whenever the world shows him his reflection. Maybe if he doesn't think of all the people he needs, being here wont hurt so much.

Besides: space ships are fucking metal.

So he walks around around it, taking in the damage, his smile going from something warm and bright to something tighter, not as open and kind, but still miles away from cruel.]

I'm guessing the last person that tried to fly this really sucked at it.

[He toes it with his leather boots, puts a little bit of weight on it, like he half expects it to collapse under the weight. When it doesn't do so immediately, he shrugs and tentatively steps inside, a jerk of his head towards anyone else that happens to be standing nearby.]

You mind helping me scope it out? Spaceship repair wasn't in my electives.


iv. nightmares

[Eventually, he finds somewhere to sleep, and he dreams. Tortured, messy things. Darkness, fueled on guilt and self-loathing, twisting into anger and frustration that veers wildly into despair. Ronan feels everything so intensely, and a world without the only people that have ever mattered to him brings out the worst thing:

Night Horrors.
He's never dreamed them before.
He certainly doesn't mean to bring one back with him.

He just means to get out before they tear him apart. Dying in a dream doesn't kill him, but he still feels the suffering, feels the dying. So he wakes in paralyzed stillness, and suddenly there's a shadow in the forest. But for anyone that happens to have been nearby, close enough to catch the moment where the forest went from still to haunted with a walking horror, there's a twist of wrong logic. A moment where their mind plays tug-of-war between whether or not it had always been there- no telling which side wins.

Maybe you don't catch the moment where one of his nightmares accidentally falls out. Maybe it's the fighting, the struggle, the sound of something inhuman and bestial. The crash of beaks and claws and shadows and a feral boy fighting against something that hates him. Maybe it's a gasp or a shout or wrapped knuckles thudding into shadows that sound like flesh that doesn't give.

Maybe you catch on to what's happening just in time to realize he's in over his head. Maybe you see the glint of claws like razors.]

4 Someone Needs A Hero

[It's late, today sucks, and Tommy had decided to deal with the continuing problem of not sleeping nearly as long as other people here. Normally that turned to evening tending of things in the greenhouse, but tonight it had been investigations, trying to see if there might be some good foods he could harvest only at night in the forest. That alone had brought him in range of the fight, the horror, the wrongness.

Tommy ran, ran with a burst of inhuman speed, before he caught sight of what was going on. He saw in slow motion the fugly creature reaching out with horrible claws to get at some hapless teen who really didn't belong in the wild. So he ran, moving easily in front of the creature to scoop up the kid who was way out of his depth, and pulling him almost twenty feet away from the creature.]

Yo genius, don't sleep in the forest at night. It's when predators come out.

Joseph Kavinsky | The Raven Cycle

a. The Beach

[He'd spent a good chunk of his life in New Jersey; he was used to beaches. What he wasn't used to was blue sand beaches on an alien planet. At first, Kavinsky thought he was maybe dreaming. He'd dreamed of wilder things than blue sand and whatever else was around here, after all. But deep down, he knew this wasn't a dream. He wouldn't have put himself in a place like this. A lot of his dreams were business as usual, drugs, forgeries, knives, guns. Rarely did things get out of hand anymore; he'd gained control years ago.

The real question was, if he wasn't dreaming what the fuck had happened to him? One moment he'd been at his 4th of July party, staring down his dreamed fire dragon, the next second he'd been in this strange place. He wasn't as distressed by it as someone else might have been. He missed his boys more than anything, but his house had never really felt like a 'home', and Henrietta hadn't been all that special.

When the answers weren't immediately dropped at his feet, he took matters into his own hands, wandering around the place, making his way down to the beach. He didn't have any swim trunks but he also had no shame. He thought about stripping down naked but in the end kept his boxers on before wading into the ocean, standing hip-deep in the water, hands on his hips as he surveyed the sea and stretch of beach. He was dark-haired and dark-eyed, skinny but fit enough, even if the knobs of his spine were nearly visible.

It was oddly nice, but then-

He caught sight of one of the green lobsters, blinking once and then twice.]

What the fuck?

[Slogging his way out of the water, he approached the creature, crouching down next to it. He took care to stay away from the pincers, but prodded the back of the lobster, all the same, watching it scuttle about. He thought, briefly, about hurling the animal into the ocean, but decided against it, instead poking at it again.]

b. Exploration

[There were a lot of buildings but not a lot to actually see. It suited Kavinsky just fine. In fact, a lot of the ruined buildings reminded him of his dream space, what it'd looked like before the forest that called him a thief. He might have been from a rich family and was used to getting his way, but he wasn't spoiled necessarily. He didn't need luxuries. He didn't need fancy accommodations. A bed and a roof over his head would be good enough, he just needed to find a place like that.

He made his way through the remains of the city, poking his head into this building or that. Nothing was suitable, yet. He'd seen the hotel, but he didn't want it to be his only option. Likely, he was going to have to put some hard work into any place he was going to stay. He wasn't opposed to that, but the place had to be right.

Wading through hip-high weeds between a pair of crumbling buildings, Kavinsky stopped to listen to his surroundings. He heard footsteps behind him. Maybe just another person, maybe a creature that wanted to tear him apart. Maybe someone who wished him harm. Whichever option it was, he drew his gun--a beautiful silver thing with dreamkiller written on the side--and turned, raising the weapon. It didn't have any ammo. No one needed to know that.]

I'd stay right where you are, if I were you.

c. Going For a Swim

[One way or another, his exploring had led him to the flood plain. Part of him said that diving into the water was a no-go, no way in hell, but the other part of him said you only live once, so why not? He surveyed the water for a long moment, hands on his hips, before he stripped down to his boxers and waded in. The only reason he didn't get completely naked was because he would have felt too vulnerable if he needed to fight something. He wasn't sure if there was anything in the water, but it was better to be at least a little safe than sorry.

The water was deeper than it looked from the surface but Kavinsky was a strong swimmer, so it was no bother, really. After a moment, he surfaced, pushing his dark hair back from his forehead and taking a few deep breaths. Was there even anything worth it in the water? Was he just wasting his time? [He said if anyone happened to approach where he'd left his clothes and gun. He wouldn't care about them normally, but the stuff was all he had here and even though he wasn't shy, he didn't want to waltz around in his boxers only.]

d. Dream a Little Dream

[Eventually, after exploring and diving and swimming, he settled himself down on a bench in front of a ruined building, slouched down, put his head back, and went to sleep. It wasn't quite as easy as that, but he had a lot of practice with falling asleep when he wanted to, even without his drugs.

He slept peacefully, deeply, and woke ten minutes later clutching a pair of white sunglasses that he most definitely hadn't had when he'd sat down, if there was anyone around who was paying attention. Someone might also notice that he was very still, even though he was awake, staring up at the sky, body tense. The moments it lasted for dragged out, seconds ticking by, before he lifted his head, surveyed his new shades, and put them on.

[Lauri-Ell was used to wandering the city on her patrols, in her constant attempts to keep the residents brought here by the Agrii safe. Which of course meant this would by no means be her first awkward encounter with a new arrival. How could it be, when she was who she was? Lauri-Ell was a full blood and genetically engineered Kree soldier, which meant that in her armor as she currently was, she was over six and a half feet tall, almost half as wide at the shoulder from her heavy muscles, and with the armor and massive hammer at her side, well, she was always a threatening figure.

But the gun pointed at her only had the woman raising an eyebrow. That was not something she felt threatened by, whether that was a good choice or not.]

Noctis | Final Fantasy XV

Summer/beach: Well, since the guys weren't here, Noctis found himself trying to figure out what to do. He should really be resting in the Great Beyond but for some reason, he got pulled back to life. So he found himself wandering around on the beach trying to figure out why he was alive again, what the purpose of that was and what he had to do in order to get back to where he was supposed to be.

But as he walked along his dark blue eyes looked up and he saw a little shack near the pier. That tugged something of a grin to his face and inwardly he got excited. If this was anything like Galdin Quay, he might be able to go..fishing. So he walked over (he really wanted to run but had to look cool) to the place to start asking about what they had there.

It wasn't long before he found himself with a few lures (nothing like the chocobo lures or leviathan lures back home) strong fishing wire and a decent enough fishing pole. He was absolutely delighted to get the things for free no less and so he set about getting all of that ready.

Looking out at the water, he couldn't help but smirk before he put the strung pole over his shoulder with the lure.

"Hope you guys are hungry."

City - Noct is out exploring and he's being his usual inconspicuous self. He's keeping to himself, not sure if people can even really see him or not as he's not supposed to be corporeal anymore. But he does end up following a small group of children who are talking animatedly and excitedly about birds.

Thinking somehow that the kids are referring to chocobos, Noct keeps a small distance and follows them. And that's when he sees an animal nursery and his eyes light up as he smiles softly. But he wanders around a little, still keeping an eye on the kids and they start trying to hop on the small wooden fence to see these baby birds.

Slowly the king moved around and saw what they were looking at but he couldn't help to sigh and his shoulders lowered a little in disappointment. "Guess there might not be chocobos here."

Network - [No stranger to technology (unfortunately this phone didn't seem to support gaming so no chance of King's Knight becoming available) Noctis easily got the hang of how to work the device. Of course every device works a little differently but he got the gist of it pretty quick. His voice when it came over the network was quiet and a little hesitant because he was a shy kind of nervous man.]

So uh..I don't suppose anyone's seen someone all dressed in black, pretty tall with dark hair? Or a blonde that laughs a lot? Oh and um..there's a guy with glasses too..not sure if they're around or not.

Beach

One second Noctis is alone, the next there's a man next to him, head tilted, considering the fishing pole.

"I mean yeah, hungry is always a thing here. And fish are a BITCH to get. Like, fat green lobsters aren't so bad if they don't sting you, but fish? Fuck I could go for some real roast fish."

Of course being able to outrace sound itself didn't actually translate into good fishing skills, which was annoying. Anything on the land was his bitch, but IN the water? Nope.

Pre-Serum Steve Rogers | MCU

Arrival: One of the worst things for asthma was panic. And one of the worst things for panic was being abducted from your home and shoved in the middle of a strange, alien world. Or at least that seemed to be the case for Steve right now. Not that he was panicking. There was no need to panic yet.

Even though this was clearly as far away from Brooklyn as he could possibly get and also possibly in outer space. No need to panic.

That didn't seem to make a difference for his lungs, though. Steve sat on the ground still processing everything the data point had told him and trying to slow his breathing down as much as he could. It was halfway successful. He was still wheezing but it wasn't getting any worse. Now just to keep that going; something told him there was no chance of finding asthma cigarettes around here so this was his bet.


Summer Time! There was something sort of exciting about being on such a strange beach. It was like jumping into one of Buck's weird sci fi books or a space comic. Steve half expected little green men to pop up behind rocks. But that was stupid considering there were literal blue women and living robots around just normally. With all that the green men lost their novelty but the beach was still exciting.

He wasn't going to be out for long and certainly wasn't going to go near any of the lobsters (it would probably kill him just to prove it really could be deadly to someone). But he absolutely was going to go swimming. When was the last time he'd really been able to do that?

Steve pulled his shirt off and started the timer before his skin started to burn. Maybe a half hour or so. But whatever. Until then he was going to go swim in the ocean.

Spaceships This was incredible. Steve stared at all the ships and walked closer, half expecting them to be some sort of trick or illusion. But no. He could reach his hand out and touch them. He could go inside and see the sort of controls and machinery one would expect in a spaceship.

A spaceship!

"Buck Rogers can take a hike. Steve Rogers has the real McCoy here," he laughed to himself as he walked around the ships for maybe the hundredth time. "Boy...What it must be like in the air... "

He looked over and tried the one ship that had let him inside. Sure there must be no harm in taking a closer peek. Maybe even looking around the controls. See if the thing could get airborne. Just for a little...

Sam stretches his hands up over his head, unkinking first his left shoulder, then his right. He groans as he reaches down again to rub at his lower back. It's been a long-ass, confusing day, and he's going to relax in this sun on this weird sand if it kills him.

He flops back into the sand, hands pillowing his head, convinced he's too tense to actually really relax. He promptly goes to sleep. Feel free to wake him up. Or draw on his face, or whatever.

When he wakes up, it's to the kinda tickly feeling of something crawling up his chest. The hour or so doze he just had is enough to put him to 'blearily comfy' but not enough to actually send him through tiredness and out the other side yet, so he still wants to snooze some more.

But it's like when you need to pee, and it's not that bad, so you could maybe sleep some more, but you still do need to pee, so mayyyyyyyybe you oughtta get up? Not that this is a 'need to pee' sensation, exactly. He sighs, opening his eyes, and scares the hell out of a bright green lobster perched on his chest. It flaps its claws around and nips the end of his nose.



2. Spaceships

"Starduck, eh?" he says to himself, squeezing his way into the ship. The doors are a little clunky. He wonders for a moment if it's like Star Trek and there are people just out of view furiously yanking on ropes to make 'em work.

It's not tech he's familiar with, but he knows enough about tech to make a couple cautious assumptions about how to bring up a map of the interior. He presses a button.

Spaceships

Steve sees the guy as he walks into the spaceship. Since he's been walking around and looking at them himself, the chance to explore one on the inside with someone else is too enticing to pass up. He slips in behind the guy and watches as he walks with a familiarity Steve can't fathom. As he presses a button, Steve smiles and decides to pipe up.

"Do you know how to work this thing? It's something straight outta Jules Verne, right? I wonder if it really does get into space."

Simba | The Lion King

City

There was a lot to explore around here! A lot more than any little lion cub could ever dream of. Buildings were something he's never seen, even in such a ruined state. It was far too tempting for this little guy who thought exploring an elephant graveyard was a good idea.

It wasn’t hard to spot him. A blotch of gold weaving through overgrown grass, hopping from one chunk of rubble to another, or maybe even rolled on his back looking up at the stars. Maybe he’s one of the local wildlife? Though if you know anything about lions you know he’s definitely out of place here.

Network

Guess who found their device. A chaotic video coming onto the network as it’s accidentally activated. A dizzying display of scenery flashing by with the occasional paw or teeth. Simba thinking it a worthy toy as he bats it around and tosses it in the air.

Because what is technology? He definitely doesn’t know.

Beach

Oh hey a beach! Coming across it on his wanderings, Simba runs out onto the sand, leaving little paw prints behind. Though he stops to marvel at the water with wide eyes, never having seen an ocean before. “Whoa.”

His awe is eventually broken though as movement catches his eye. One of the lobsters minding its own business as it scuttles along. With ears folding back and a grin on his maw, the little lion crouches and proceeds to stalk his new prey. Which ultimately results in a masterful pounce! His victory short lived though as he narrowly avoids getting pinched as the lobster snaps at him.

“Yikes!” Simba jumps away, only to have the lobster come at him again. “Hey!”

City

Simba should learn to pay better attention to his surroundings. Toothless has been watching the odd creature pounce from one thing to another. Is this a game? What was this creature? He didn't know. But he was intrigued to find out. So he started stalking him, moving rather quietly for a creature his size.

He crouched in the long grass, wings up as he stalked like a wild cat in savannah. He holds still, long tail swaying slowly, as he waits for the right time. When it comes, , with barely a growl, Toothless gives himself away finally, as he leaps out of the grass, to pounce on the small lion.

Exploring

This wasn't where she needed to be. When she had first realized she wasn't on Earth Usagi had felt a surge of hope that this was where she would find Mercury and Jupiter. They couldn't be dead, she had to believe.

But now she knew that wasn't what brought her here but she refused to give up hope anyway. She would find them.

But until then it was up to her to be on her own and be strong. Everyone would tell her not to cry and that they would always be with her in some way

And as always she's not really looking where she's going, caught up in looking instead- at least until her shoe catches on an uneven part of the street sending her face first into the ground in the most undignified way.

Spaceship

Maybe she wasn't supposed to be here but when the door just slides open she can resist peeking in, leaning in.

So far so good. She has a feeling that she doesn't belong here but that doesn't stop her from venturing in. Wariness turns into delight when she makes her way into the galley.

Alright it may be rude to just help herself but she would ask forgiveness later since she was starving. And that delight is swiftly replaced with disappointment when what she thought was an ice cream dispenser only provided a gross paste type food.

"They shouldn't fool people like that!"

Huff.

Exploration | Hopefully catching is okay?

Good thing she wasn't the only one around, right? While the young woman was looking around another woman was coming out of a building. A nice, tall woman, easily six and a half feet, with blue skin and snow white hair and muscles for days, who catches Usagi with a single arm under her shoulders to hold her up.

"Care should be taken on these streets. They are very uneven."

[OOC: Please note, that I am working on catching up on Clone Wars and Bad Batch, and I am aware that Rex appears in the Bad Batch. However, I am caught up on all 3 trilogies, and the Mandalorian. So feel free to throw whatever you want at me, including spoilers, I do not mind a bit.]

Exploration

A new arrival to the city, is a bald older man with a white mustache and beard. Wearing blue and white armor, that definitely looks like it's seen better days. Weather and battle worn. The man himself, not looking in much better shape. But the holstered twin blasters at his sides, might just hint at otherwise.

Still, Rex is taking in this new world with contemplative interest. Stopping to rub at his beard for a moment, as he takes in one dilapidated structure. A somewhat familiar looking helmet, likewise worn, currently tucked up under an arm.

"If I didn't know better. I would believe this city's seen battle." His voice may definitely sound familiar to some, however.

The Deep end

Eventually Rex finds his way to the bar, and an eyebrow goes up as he steps inside, especially eying the small fish tank with the chair in front of it. But really, the giant tank on the other side of the bar has his attention for a while. Taking in the strange water creatures that decide to appear behind the glass.

"Interesting. Can't say I've seen the like before" And he's seen a lot of different creatures over the years.

Storm!

The storm came on suddenly and unexpected, of course poor Rex gets caught out in it. Not the first time he's been out in rain and wind, specially coming from Kamino. But what he's not expecting to encounter is the figures who appear out of the storm, many dressed in familiar armor. It's enough to make Rex's steps stop, as he turns to stare at them.

"No...it can't be." The word "traitor" can be heard said, among some of the louder ones. While Rex's expression just turns to sadness.

Hot Summer Time!
Does she stick out like a sore thumb? More than a little, given that she is fully dressed, head to toe. With annoyance written on her face, Gamora has taken a seat near the beach. For a moment she almost wondered if someone would try something now and she would need to defend herself (and a part of her hoped that it would be), but nothing happened. This whole experience was odd, to say the least, and more than a little frustrating. She has never taken well to strangers, and suddenly finding herself somewhere other than where she had been in a rather large juxtaposition. Whatever this game is, she has no time for it.

Her lips pursed as her eyes scanned, first left, than right, taking in everything that she can. She hardly looks inviting, although she's actually not actively trying to portray such an emotion. Rather it is the frustration at the entire situation that simmers on her features. There was nothing that gave away what planet she was on, given that she doesn't simply just trust the information that had been given to her. Therefore, she would find her answers if she had to tear the whole planet apart one piece at a time. Alert and wary, Gamora turned back to the water, eyes constantly moving. She needed to find Peter, to find Drax and to find Mantis.

Arguably, it shouldn't be too hard, as all she would likely have to do was go to where the biggest racket was coming from... Drawing in a deep breath, she let it out slowly. She didn't know what was going on, but one way or another, she was going to find out. Her eyes do flicker, and if she catches someone's expression, Gamora speaks out.

"What? Never seen a Zehoberei? Take a picture. I'm told it lasts longer."

Explore the city!
Luck is not something that Gamora would place her faith in. Rather, her own skills and prowess are traits that she would draw towards. They are something that she knows and trusts, even if her reputation may be of slightly ill-regard back where she is from. Gamora is well aware of the negativity that is placed within her own name, alone and both in connection with Thanos, but it is still something that she desires to change, that she has been changing.

Still, some things seemed to have fallen in to place just a little too easy, which had started to make her suspicious. It doesn't help that she tends towards that emotion anyway, but knowing her history, it would explain many things. Little by little those chinks are being chipped away as time passes, but here it does put her own edge.

It is a strange restlessness that consumes her this day, that has her pacing around the city like a caged animal. She supposes in some ways that she is, seemingly like to many others here, and yet she cannot help but note that others seem to fit in better. Perhaps not happily, and being green and sticking out like a sore thumb is nothing new to her, but it is that heat that continues to grow, that spreads across her, that makes her walk faster, wanting, wanting... It is a frustrated noise that comes from within her throat, taking a deep breath and feeling her breasts strain against her top.

Her eyes scan as she strides, until like a creature on a scent, she singles out an individual.

"You. Training grounds. Are there any?"

It's a way to spend that pent up energy, isn't it? At least it is something that Gamora can understand better, even as her tongue darts over her lips, eyeing the individual with a look that could well be constructed as predatory.

Visit the spaceships!
Now this? This is far more interesting. There is a keen expression on Gamora's face as she looks over the spaceships, eyeing them up as one might a race beast that one wished to bet upon. Yet... Many of them appear to not be functional, at least at first glance. She stalks along with, eyes roving, measuring, weighing. Some manner of crash, and not that long ago, she would guess. Just what does it mean though?

Scanning back and forth, she does eventually settle for one that seems less damaged than the others, eyeing the door as it opens in invitation. There is a wave of fondness over her, although not for this ship. No, it is another that she has in mind, which... Well, they'd have to work out the whole entire ship thing eventually after everything that had just happened. It's not like they grew on trees, and they were trying to, more or less, stay out of any real trouble. Some days it seemed like a backward battle, especially when Rocket kept putting his thieving hands into places that they shouldn't be.

She is trying to figure something out, a means to depart this city, although she has been unsuccessful so far. Perhaps, with some work....? Patience is a virtue that Gamora can have, when she wants to, as she had waited for an opportune moment to leave Thanos after all those years under his thumb. It still rubbed her the wrong way, but she would find some answers, even if she had to spend every waking hour looking for the solution. Yet, somehow her mind keeps turning, drawn.

Gamora cannot say that she had ever really been one to stop and admire things for their artistic merit, unless one would consider a weapon to be such a thing. Then she may well. A ship though? It is not something that she had grown up putting much study in to, not even before what had happened on her planet. After? Art wasn't exactly something that Thanos collected, let alone spent time regarding. Training, training, and more training. If one wasn't the best... Gamora had been. Her face turns, features sharp and focused, not yet entering, as if it may be a trap as well.

"Perhaps... With some work."

[NETWORK]
[She does perhaps make a sight, for a number of reasons. The first is that her skin is green, even if she is humanoid in appearance. The bone structure of her face is slightly different mind, although it's not overly noticeable, but enough to draw a second look anyway given those silver markings. Her face is framed by strands of hair that are ombred, starting one colour and fading to another. Her expression is... less than impressed, although with Gamora, that tends to be a typical state of being.

She has that hard expression, lips pursed and dark eyes roving. She appears to be resting against a wall, alert, wary, and ready. A long look from beneath her lashes as she regards the feed, before talking.]

Of all the idiotic things I have heard, this has got to be up there, and that is saying a lot.

[Not that she can deny having arrived here. And being stuck here was not going to help the galaxy. Thanos... She knows that he looms on the horizon, a bomb waiting to go off. Yet one that won't, if she has anything to say about it.]

I seek several individuals. They... might have gotten in to trouble already. One goes by the name of Star-Lord, or Quill. He has a strange fascination with music and other Terran- Earthian- Human things. Another is Drax. He is- [Where does she even begin with him.] Hard to miss. Mantis is a third. There may also be a furry creature by the name of Rocket who has an obsession with weapons or one who calls himself Groot. If you've knowledge of them, I would speak to you.

i: The Deep End
It's something of talent of Constantine's that he can find a pub wherever he is. This one isn't like his usual dives, but the sign saying 'help yourself' more than makes up for any of the other strangeness. Free booze is free booze, and Constantine slips behind the bar to help himself to a bottle, cracking the seal and starting to work on it immediately. Anyone else who enters gets a shouted "We're closed!" in the hopes of discouraging them.

ii: Spaceships
"Vanquish, is it? Little on the nose." Constantine kicks at the checkerboard flooring and keeps his hands shoved deep into his coat pockets as he wanders the ship. It's nothing like the Waverider and clearly in desperate need of repair, which is clearly what he's meant to handle. Which honestly shows that whoever thought him being here was a good idea is clearly barking mad.

His wanderings eventually bring him to a section that looks like it's currently being worked on, although he can't make heads or tails of any of it. A touch annoyed, Constantine stares up at the ceiling and aims a shout at whoever might be listening in.

"I'm a bloody warlock, you hear me? If you wanted repairs, you should have snatched someone else!"

iii: Storms
It's easy to see why everyone is heading for shelter; the storm is vast, lit from within by sprawling cracks of lighting, energy strong enough to fair lift the hairs on his head. He's no stranger to that kind of power, and Constantine doesn't try to flee but instead strides into the midst of it. He's not afraid of risking his own life, and there's every possibility that there are others trapped inside that could use a hand finding a way out.

What he isn't banking on is his first attempt at a spell, a simple guidance spell to help find anyone lost in this chaos, to fail before it even starts. It's something that should be simple for him, barely taking any energy at all--

He should go back. Find out what is going on here and what danger he might be in, but there's a scream that's horribly familiar and Constantine is sprinting towards the sound before it even ends. "Des! Desmond! Where are you?!"

Crowley | Good Omens

1. Time to Fight A Crab [aka- Hot Summer Time!]
Crowley was never much of a beach person. He'd had plenty of sand in his time, not to mention plenty of sun (anyone who said anything about how great the Good Old Days were clearly never had to endure nearly 6,000 years without Central Air Conditioning or Central Heating). Granted, when it wasn't too hot out it wasn't so bad curling up on the warm sand for a bit of a snooze-- but this was anything but a mild summer day at Brighton Beach.

He had wandered down to the beach out of pure curiosity, looking for more signs or ideas of where in the universe he might be. What he found, instead, were lobsters. Were they lobsters, though? Maybe they were crabs. Well, if they weren't already he was sure they would eventually end up wandering their way into something remotely crab-shaped some eons from now.

Not nearly as carefully as he should, he squatted next to one of the fat maybe-lobster creatures and reached for it-- only to let out a loud scream as he got within reach of those nasty claws.

"FUCK!!"


2. Network
[ The view opens up to, unfortunately, a close-up of the lower half of Crowley's face. Just because he invented the selfie doesn't mean he knows how to make this blessed thing work, alright? ]

Er-- let's see.. oh. Right. Here we are.

[ He seems to have realized that he has it working now and adjusts his hold on the camera until there's a semi-decent picture of his face for the whole Network to see. ]

For the record, for whoever's listening up there or down there or where ever there, this is not what I meant when I said I wanted to run off to Alpha Centauri.


3. Spaceships
Crowley felt like he should probably be more impressed. There were spaceships-- real, actual spaceships. Not just the kind that manifested themselves out of thin air because the Anti-Christ decided they existed. Proper spaceships.

But honestly it was a bit of a let down. After being dragged all the way out here, having a boat load of information just dumped into his head (with technology, too! not the usual demonic route of information download) he expected... well, a little more glam. A little more Ziggy Stardust. A little more lens flares.

This was just a garage, wasn't it? Just one big old garage. The ships may have been bigger than your average car, but still didn't really pack as big of a punch as Crowley had been hoping for.

"Suppose it'll have to do. Could be worse. Could be better, though." He grumbled to himself, staring dejectedly at the sad little collection of ships.

Mobius sits at a corner table in The Deep End. He's sipping on something bright purple, and occasionally stops to stick out his tongue to see if it's changed color.

The nachos in front of him are covered in the goopiest, most gloriously orange cheese in the multiverse.


3. Network

[There's a whzzt, and a phut, and a blooblebloobleblooble - don't ask - and then a face appears on your screen. The face makes a face and then the rest of the body appears, too.]

Hey there, everyone. Anyone know of a place to find good pancake syrup? None of this authentic crap, I want something with all the additives.


4. Storms

[Mobius is out of breath, huddled inside a doorway as the storms rage just outside. There's a petite, dark-haired woman in an immaculate uniform talking to him. A Jotun is not made for this sort of heat, and as such, Loki has stripped down to his underclothes, leaving his TVA uniform in a neat pile on the shore. After examining the Data Point, Loki is convinced this place is far past its Nexus Point. But there could still be something here worth the TVA's attention that could bring them looking for him and get him out of there. As such, anyone out and around Alien Target will find him picking through the shelves, wearing a khaki windbreaker with the word VARIANT printed on it in bright orange letters. If he hears someone approaching, he'll look up and ask:
"Do they have chewing gum here, by any chance?"

The storm is not a good place for him to be, but he's stuck out in it anyway, having mistook it at first for a normal rainstorm. He's long past any fear of those, given his family, but the visions that start to surround him are horrible. Each and every one that presses in brings a particular flavor of guilt, a regret, a stinging remark directed back at him, and though Loki is a master of illusion, these ones threaten to ruin him. He crouches, hands over his ears, letting the rain drench him as he tries to block it all out.

"Enough," he growls through his teeth. "ENOUGH--!"

The shouts stand out from the ones that have been tearing at Constantine in this storm, the screams that have a way of getting under his skin like nothing else in this world. They aren't a voice he recognises, and that gives him so hope that it might even be real.

He can't say how much relief he feels when he puts a hand out and it touches a solid shoulder, his fingers tightening immediately as though afraid that the figure will still manage to disappear in a moment.

"Easy, squire, they're not real." Constantine's voice is rough and his face drawn, but he tries a reassuring smile anyway.

Hot Summer Time!

Steve's not exactly delighted about his prospects for getting out of here and getting back home. Getting back to Peggy........ or getting back to Bucky, Sam, Pepper, Nat, and the rest.

(He loves Peggy. More than air. But he's beginning to think he'd made the wrong choice. There are ways to not be active while still being around to support his family.)

Might as well go for a swim while he's here, though. Keep up the training, keep himself moving, don't let the thoughts catch up to him. He strips down to shorts, tests the water with a toe, and then with a shiver and a grin dives in.

It's been a few days now. Might as well keep busy, right?

Steve's found a way to make himself useful in the hospital. He doesn't have formal medical training, but he's done enough first aid courses to know his ass from someone else's elbow, and he has a steady hand. So he's been helping out with various patients, checking vital signs, listening to those who just need to talk, bandaging up wounds, bringing lunch, providing the local equivalent of aspirin to those with a headache. Sometimes he's even on reception.

So you might find him in any of those places.

"Peggy!" he calls desperately, running after her. She's screaming, bleeding, being swarmed by some kind of creature-!

The storms surrounding them aren't helping. He thinks there's some kind of magnetic element to them along with the water, along with the occasional flash of lightning and the stink of ozone. He doesn't feel right...

He rounds a corner and nearly loses sight of her. "Peggy!"

It's not Moonshade who's in need of medical care (this time), it's Steadypaw. Which means Steve walks into an exam room and sees a woman who's less than four feet tall, with ears pointed and purple-brown eyes wide, standing next to a grey-furred wolf with a bloodied foreleg. The woman is dressed in dark-dyed rough leather clothing, a knife tucked under her belt.

Hopefully someone warned him how weird shit gets here, sometimes.

Hot Summer Time

Luke doesn't mind sand and doesn't mind using the Force to safely collect food, so he's down on the beach collecting lobsters into a crate to euthanise safely and painlessly for food later. He's careful about which ones he takes, nothing young, nothing pregnant or with eggs, conscious to not upset the ecosystem balance.

On occasion, he stops to peer into tide pools and then just sits there, looking into them, apparently lost in thought.


Explore the City

The natural reaction for any Jedi Knight in a new situation is to immediately find the highest thing possible to survey from and then recklessly leap from it back to the ground, or find the deepest place to go and use their lightsaber to navigate their way there. Luke isn't at this stage in exploring yet, he's still on foot and scrambling over ruins, occasionally lifting hills of rubble with a gesture to look under them or pass by. He tries not to just throw things, since the presence of the other residents isn't always immediately apparent but accidents can happen...

At the very least, Luke is comfortable with holo technology and variants thereof. He can manage the screen fine and get himself properly in view. "Hey, I know there has to be others out there. Would someone mind sending some directions for where I should be checking out first? Like... where the Jedi are would be a great start?"

The woman who answers the network post is not human--she has long, pointed ears and large violet-brown eyes and seems amused by the question.

"The Jedi have a building they call their temple; you can find it by going west from the fountain in the dead middle of the city. It's the best place to find them; Ezra or Obi-Wan are probably around there. You're from the same world as them?"

The beach: Blue eyes blinked as he looked around. This wasn't Destiny Islands by any stretch of the imagination although it'd been ten years since he'd been there. But he looked and saw weird green creatures out on the beach for a stroll. They didn't look anything like Heartless or Unversed, so he didn't let it bother him.

Heading over to the trees there, he couldn't help but look up to see if there was any star shaped fruit in them. That search turned out to be negative too as had his original search for his friends. They'd been right beside him and now they disappeared, but Terra wasn't about to let it get him down. They'd been separated before, they'd find their way back to each other again, he just knew it.

For now, he stood at the edge of the water with an almost smile on his face. This was just like he did all of those years ago when he'd first met Riku. And at the approach of someone he nodded.

"Guess we're just stuck here for now, right?"

Network: The camera tilts up and down as he tries to focus it because this is the guy who didn't even get a Gummi phone back home. So eventually the camera comes into focus and something is mumbled about not having much experience with this kind of technical stuff. But have an earnest looking face.

"Hey..I think I got it..can anyone hear me?"

Spaceships: - Terra's been on a spaceship in outer space. It was where he met Experiment six two six. So he checks into one, half wondering if he'll run into Doctor Jumba Jookiba or his fluffy creature that had stolen his orange wayfinder once. But it doesn't seem as if anyone's here as he goes through various doors that open much the same way they had in Deep Space. But once he hears an unfamiliar set of footsteps, the keyblade wielder freezes. "Who's there?"

Hot Summer in the City
It probably looks odd for a woman to be walking around in a grey tunic over a full black bodysuit, given the warm weather, but Asterope makes a point of not letting herself be seen less than fully covered. Still, she's made some concessions to the warm weather while she's on the beach, leaving her boots in the sand and wading out to her ankles. There's a soft laugh as she splashes around, a look of pure delight on her face.

As she realizes she's not the only one on the beach today, she turns, the smile dimming a bit as she steps out of her comfort zone to ask a question. "Is there any rule or regulation against collecting shells, out here?"

Exploration
It's late; the sun has long since set and the stars are beginning to blossom in the sky. And someone is seeking out the best place to watch them. This means getting up higher, of course.

Asterope can be found climbing buildings--residences, the clock tower, anything that'll give her a better view of the skies, on a clear night like this. Nimble and clearly experienced with this, she doesn't look like she's at risk of falling. But it's entirely possible she's trespassing on someone's territory unknowingly. Care to warn her? Bitch her out? Join her?

Ships! In! Space!
The hangar is a point of fascination to the new arrival. She seems to examine each ship without trying to enter, confused as to how none of them are the ship she was on, prior to arriving in Temba. However, if she hears another person's footsteps in the hangar, she'll tend to look for a place to hide, not entirely sure if she's welcome to be here. She's not much of an engineer or anything, after all.

Ezra has been climbing buildings since he was seven at least. Sometimes he too, just want to be up above most of the city and have a view.

This evening, he's tackled the comms tower. He sits cross legged on his perch - not truly meditating, but letting his thoughts drift a little.

He's not quite zoned out enough to miss the fact there's someone else climbing up the tower as well, a little before he actually sees them, although it's not a presence that feels familiar.

He waits until he thinks they notice him to speak. "Don't mind me. Unless you feel like introducing yourself? I'm Ezra."

ARRIVAL; BEACH

Luca keeps repeating that because he doesn't know what else he should be thinking or saying right now. Everything is so scary: he was pulled from his train to Genoa into a whole new world. He is aware there are many planets and many galaxies, but he didn't know he could just be pulled into one with no warning like this!

Luca's first instinct is to run to the ocean; perhaps he will find other sea creatures like him that can give him a hand. He worries about Giulia whom was on the train with him, and his thoughts also go to Alberto and his family, who stood behind at the train station.But there is no train and no trains station, so... maybe they aren't here.

Being alone is scary.

He finally arrives to the beach, panting from all the running. The problem is that there are more people around. he is a bit glad for it - he doesn't want to be the only one! - but now Luca is also pretty scared. If these people never saw a Sea Creature... they could hurt him. Even though the town of Portorosso has accepted them, he knows the rest of the world still doesn't know about them. Specially not a new planet.

Therefor, luca suddenly stops when he feet touch the sand, nervously looking around while he tugs at his shirt. What should he do, what should he do?!

Probably ask someone for help, yeah. So he approaches someone, awkwardly trying not to be in the way, but also trying to be noticed ]

[ Once the initial freak out has subsided, Luca decides he should just mingle with the people that were also brought here. He heard of this thing called "aliens" which are people who live in other worlds and aren't human, so the thought is nice. Maybe he will meet non-human friends and so he won't have to hide, right?

Still, he does stick to his human look - well, he is on land after all - and avoids getting wet. Just in case these aliens are actually very much like humans and would be scared of Sea Monsters. Whoever passes by him will be greeted with a friendly "CIAO!" as Luca passes by, walking through the streets of Temba with a big smile and a confidence of a 13 year old boy that might crumble the moment someone looks at him wrong.

Anyone is welcome to talk to him, but otherwise Luca will just walk around aimlessly, trying to get to know the streets. Even if he is nervous and scared, Luca wants to learn about this place, so he will do his best ]

So he does what anyone his age would do when faced with something he has no clue how it works: he pokes it a lot. [ It's been a few weeks since Alberto woke up on Tembla, and he goes to the beach daily. He figured that if another sea monster were to come here, instincts would tell them to go to the sea. He also feels safer with the water closer, a bit less lonely. It's not like Portorosso, of course, but at least the sea is familiar. He doesn't get into the water if there are people near, even his recklessness has a limit, and mostly just fishes at night or where no one can see him.

It worries him to not be able to go back, he doesn't want Luca, Giulia or Massimo thinking that he left them. Alberto would never have done that if he had a choice, and just thinking about them hurts. So, he tries to keep busy and distract himself. He's met some rather cool people so far: Robot men who could jump really high, a wizard, a really strong and tall blue lady...but none of them are; ]

Luca? [ Alberto freezes, staring at the person standing on the other side of the beach, because hell if it doesn't look like his best friend. The confusion only lasts a second. He drops everything he's carrying - which mainly consists of some of the sponge cakes that can be found deep underwater and soem wood he was going to use to start a fire later- and sprints towards the other boy like the devil himself is chasing him. ]

[ Someone's going to get tackle-hugged in a matter of seconds by a very excited, and teary eyed, sea monster. ]

Alex has found a bag of some sort and is now picking through some of the ruins near the Hanger, occasionally stashing a bit or bob that looks useful in said bag. She moves with a confidence that speaks of having had to scrounge for supplies before. She pauses, holding a strange alien device up to the light, turning it one way and then the other, obviously trying to figure out if it's something useful or just scrap. Finally with a shrug she shoves it into her bag. Then she notices you and levels a sharp glare your way and bares her teeth. "This is my scrounging grounds. Go find ruins of your own."

The Hanger
Alex has spent a lot of time in the Hanger, looking at all the ships. Eventually he discovers that he can get into the Bloodsport, and has made use of the shower. Because why turn down hot running water when it's so freely offered? Okay, maybe not freely, but no one else was around, and he's not the type to waste the opportunity. Nor the opportunity for food, no matter how weird. But he's also not going to eat it inside where he doesn't know the layout or escape routes. Exactly how he managed to get up on top of the ship is a good question, but he's up there, sitting on a towel and chowing down on some of the solid protein stuff looking rather self-satisfied.

doctor stephen strange is what one would call, out of his element. he can still feel his magic course through him, though some of it feels... far away, like it's being held on a string away from his face. it has him on guard, his shaking hands held aloft next to his head. just in case.

he's familiar with piloting, of course, with tech that s.h.i.e.l.d. had offered him in the past. with things like the quinjet. but these... these are new. well, new to him. these have clearly seen some use, but they don't look anything at all like the tech he knows. some of them are dirty, others are dusty, some are shined like new. there doesn't seem to be a sign of life, however, until the door to one of them whooshes open, a sudden movement that makes him freeze momentarily. outside the vanquish, doctor strange awaits any other sudden motions. is there anyone inside?
