Welp. Lark told Kaz that if a person carries around a spool of thread in their pocket for 3 days, she would then be able to track that person.

To Kaz this of course means everyone should have had a spool of thread in their pockets for 3 days.

Now I figured I'd do a post about it, and he will make it sound like he has purely altruistic motives, but for any character that either wouldn't reply positively to such a post or if you just plain don't want to mess with plotty stuff, then you can absolutely say that Kaz used sleight of hand to slip your character the thread, then 3 days later he used sleight of hand to get it back. At any rate this plotty thing will most likely take a long time because Lark doesn't have that many spools of thread right now. All the more reason for your character to help her spin thread, right?

Anyway, just to keep it all straight here's a handy dandy questionnaire;

I think it might be fun if she doesn't notice it being planted, but notices it being stolen back. Slip it in the back of her hood or something?

Tommy would not reply. He would carry the thread around if it's forced on him or offered. But he sure as hell would notice sleight of hand and stop it in its tracks

Even if he might not catch Kaz in the act, Cayde goes through his things pretty religiously so that spool's not going to go unnoticed. Depending on how much he might want to mess around with Kaz he might just leave it on the counter with a note that has a spade-mark on it.

Very likely yes to be honest, and it likely wouldn't be a good interaction. However if someone wants to try to convince him into it after the fact, that could be something to explore.

Won't reply, but be suspicious about it since this is Kaz and he knows the boy is following him around. As he doesn't trust Kaz's motives, he also won't agree to carry a thread.

And lastly: Yes, he will notice and shoot his laser eyes at Kaz confront him. May not go well for Kaz.

If Kaz made a post about it first and Cobb was aware of his plans he'd be wary about Kaz approaching him. And most likely he'd noticed the spool on him if Kaz did manage to slip it past him. He'd probably then confront him about it. Angry confrontation.

I doubt Kaz would be able to slip something on Ikora. She's very aware of people around her and what they're doing. If he tried to be sneaky about it, she would also mistrust his reasons.

Considering he's spent the last year being tracked and followed cause of Grogu, he'd be wary as hell, and say no to being tracked.

He'd be wary as hell, that someone might try to pull something. But he's got bad peripherals cause of the helmet, too. So could be easy to slip something on him. But if he manages to find it in 3 days, he'd get rid of it.
