Interesting, that Captain got there on his own. Tommy smirks at the comment, a bit pleased. His Cap hadn't thought of that as much when his team ended up going to ground with Cap during the super hero Civil War.

"You're not wrong. There are some good tubers for that. Or there were at the Porpoise Brush party," Tommy agrees. What? He'd enjoyed the language issue. "They were tasty, and I've had a lot of energy since then, so great carbs. Gonna make a spiralizer and have lots of pasta like that."

The offering of the fruit, though, Tommy looks in shock at Steve. It's one thing to acknowledge that Tommy will need a lot. Another to have this guy just offer what he's found. He considers them, before fishing a berry out and rolling it around in his fingers.

"Suppose I make a good test subject. Whatever could be bad in these will hit my system a lot faster than anyone else probably. Unless my mutation makes me immune. Down the hatch."

He pops the fruit and chews, and after he swallows he throws his arms open in his best 'smite me now' pose. Nothing yet. May be good.
