Shadows may, indeed be weaker in the light, but that's exactly why they tend to steal any light threatening them. And yet at the same time the stronger a light source is, the stronger are the shadows it casts. It's a peculiar balance of effects. Almost as peculiar as this frantic, scared boy.

Wilson gives a shrug as if his very presence wouldn't terrify Dustin. "Wouldn't we all want to figure that little detail out..." The words trail off while two comparably large shadow hands settle on Dustin's shoulders, promising with their presence alone that they will make sure he doesn't run away again.

"I'm more interested to know why you ran away, pal." He hasn't done anything to Dustin, has he? At least... Not yet.
