Harry's still mostly getting his bearings and hasn't talked to too many people. He's not entirely sure what to do from here. So he's in on an alien planet with no means to get home. He can only imagine how Ron and Hermione would react- Ron would shrug and Hermione would get frazzled because there's probably not a book to turn to for this.

He accidentally makes eye contact with someone and grips his wand a little tighter. He reminds himself that not everyone that he meets wants to hurt him and sucks in a breath. He looks about the same age as the students in their later years and talking to someone might help him to determine what he should be focusing on right now. Like finding food. He's suddenly aware he didn't exactly eat today. Too many chores and Aunt Marge was usually somewhere near the kitchen.
