"Oh, that's okay. I don't know what either of those taste like," Malone admitted cheerfully. Seven-up was about as helpful as lemon/lime to him; Mogonda got oranges and that was about it for local citrus. And if Bill's statement was ominous, Malone accepted it with a sort of tickled equanimity.
"A sprite?" Malone rubbed at his own chin, canny for a moment. "One of the fairy folk? And here I don't know any of your rules!" Just vaguely that they had them. Oh, well. He tended not to follow rules anyway, when he could get away with it!

Once on his feet again, he was grinning, and added, "I didn't know there were many other options. Thank you; I made part of it myself." He reached up and tweaked his own nose slightly, bending the tip up and letting it spring back.
