Hi everyone! I'm Blue, and I've just apped in Link here from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For those who do not know, Link is an amnesiac hero with poor social skills who runs around in the wilderness, solves puzzles, and beats up lots of monsters with a shiny sword and infinite bombs.

He's going to be arriving after the events of the game, with the Master Sword as his personal item (but no bombs, alas)

Anyway, hello, I'm Churby. I play a few characters here and wanted to say I'm enjoying Gladio's interaction with Link in the TDM. If you want, we can keep that as canon, perhaps set just before or after our current event that is ongoing (the event info is here, and technically ends on 2/14, but I can say for us mods we don't mind handwaving that Link arrived before it, and our players are often happy to tag backdated stuff).

Nice to meet you Churby! I also enjoyed Link and Gladio's thread, and am totally happy to keep that as game canon.

I have had a brief look at the event ooc post, but haven't had a chance to look at it in detail - but as yet I haven't worked out whether I want to throw myself into the deep end with it!

Well, I've got three others. This little speedster super hero, an older thread mage named Lark from the Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce, and an architect/city planner named Reeve from FF7

NGL, I was definitely keen to see Lark on the taken list! I am very much a Tamora Piece fan (and have actually played Briar, Daja, and Sandry way back in the day though not at all once haha)

Oh yes, if Link ever learns what she can do he will definitely be very interested in her abilities. He's used to having all sorts of enchanted clothes and armor

See, Lark will be VERY HAPPY someone is finally actively asking her for stuff and accepting that she wants to give it to them. Though if he insists on 'do something to help' she might just get tired because people always ask that, and ask if he has a problem with giant spiders. She needs more silk.

Though he will also insist on helping, though that's because Link just...likes helping period. He will run off to deal with giant spiders for her regardless of whether she makes clothes for him in return, haha

Just don't kill the spiders. Let her give you the spider-repellent goop, and just go collect the webs so she can treat and spin them.

Lark may have to give specific Do Not Kill Spiders instructions, as Link is very used to killing animals and monsters and then harvesting stuff from them, he will be amazed at this new way of monster part collecting that does not involve murder

Link's also going to arrive dress utterly inappropriate for the weather, so his first order of business will be 'warm clothes' and 'boots', so he can go outside and, you know, not die

Clearly these two will need to meet out in the wilderness somewhere!

Ash is also going to refuse to wear a coat for a while because 'it's not that cold' but it is that cold. He just doesn't want to admit it.

and yes, they should definitely meet because I'm sure that absolutely nothing will go wrong. It's clearly a very good idea.

Hello and welcome~

I’m Voot and many many moons ago I played BotW myself, so naturally I was thrilled to see Link stop by our TDM.

I myself am playing multiple characters from the horror genre. Starting with Jonathan Sims here, protagonist from the Magnus Archives Horror Podcast. Deep down he’s a good bean, but he’s also the physical manifestation of a Fear Entity that enjoys watching apocalypses. Aside from Jon I also play Wilson from Don’t Starve (Together) snatched from his brief stint as Nightmare King. My last one is Albert Wesker from that game series with the zomblies and evil residents. So far he hasn’t killed anyone!

All that aside, looking forward to Link having a great time with peanut butter sandwiches and glitter.

I'm a little familiar with Jonathan Sims (I did try the podcast and it was very good, but since I'm not really great with full on horror I wasn't able to stick with it). I'm not familiar with your other two, but I'm looking forward to threading and seeing what CR happens!

And yes, Link will want to make all the peanut butter sandwiches, someone give him the recipe he may question the addition of glitter

Oh~ I’m actually delighted that someone is familiar with Jon and yet unfamiliar with my high profile character Wesker. Then again, I pretty much only played Resident Evil due to Wesker becoming a killer in Dead by Daylight so I’m relatively new to the series myself.

Jon is very likely to be a big spoiler tho, since his canon point by now it post canon. But he’s happy not using any weird powers and just live in the library surrounded by mothcats.

I've not played any Resident Evil, so I am very much canon blind! (Despite the fact that I'm playing Link, I'm not the most familiar with many video games)

I'm also not likely to go back to TMA, so don't worry about spoiling me! and I'm pretty sure I've been spoiled a lot anyway just by existing online
