If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.

Thread ideas:

- Explore the city! There's a map here and a bit more description of some of the buildings here. Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working, but power is intermittent and unreliable. The hotel seems to be the most crowded, but you might want into what appears to be an abandoned storefront and find someone else scavenging or even sleeping.

- There are spaceships! That's right, there are currently several small spaceships grounded in the hangar. They appear to have power, but only one ship will let you enter. (For test drive purposes, the ship that will let you enter is up to you, so just pick whichever name appeals, and go for it!) The other ships won't open for you, but it might be worth poking around the one that will...

- Do you hear a storm? A giant, power-altering storm has been ravaging part of the planet for a month. It shows ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? More information can be found here.

- Can you hear me now? Upon arrival, your character will have on their person a small, handheld communications device. Maybe they know exactly how to use a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and immediately blast out a text or video trying to figure out what's going on. Or maybe they're not so tech-savvy after all, and everyone is about to get a lovely shot right up your character's left nostril.

- Wildcard! You're welcome to use any previous test drive scenarios or previous game events as a basis for a thread/situation, or simply make up your own! Keep in mind that you're currently stranded on a planet with only basic necessities, but there is enough food and fresh water. Creature comforts, however, seem to be distinctly lacking...

H-he and Bruce. [She confirms with a frown, still trying to work through this whole...other universe thing that's been so casually thrown at her.] Are you saying you're from some kind of alternate universe?

There are a LOT of versions of the Earth of the Avengers, Ms. Potts. Uh... For instance, in my world, Tony didn't make Ultron. A man named Hank Pym did, alone. Which was before my time.

[Shit, this is awkward.]

Our Tony Stark is different. Pretty sure from what I heard from Vision before he left. Not that Pops knew everything about Tony, even if Jarvis did.

Pym... [That at least sparks recognition in Pepper's eyes, if confusion. Confusion which only grows more pronounced as she pieces together more of what Tommy's implying.]

Vision is your father?

[Oh damn, she's REALLY smart.]

I mean, sorta? My world is really complicated. But it makes more sense when you realize the Wanda in my world is a super powerful witch that can bend reality to her will?

[Well, yes, she is. But you did say Vision and then immediately refer to 'Pops', it's not the wildest leap of logic Pepper's ever had to make.]

I'm sorry, this is just....a whole lot. [Pepper holds up a finger to ask for a moment massaging the bridge of her nose.]

So you never had the decimation? Or Thanos or...any of it?

Yeah, my world seems to be a LOT to people that are from your version of it.

[decimation? Weird concept. But it bothered him every time.]

We've had Thanos. He was before my time, but he was defeated. A few times.

[It's hard enough to come to grips with the fact that they weren't alone in the universe, let alone that their universe seems to be one of many.

Not really. Magic. It's hard to explain. Super hard.

Wanda in my world isn't old enough to have a kid my age. So, uh, it's a lot to process. The important thing is I can take you to meet Tony if you want.

[Magic is very far from the realm of things which Pepper would say she understands. Business, logic...that's her wheelhouse.

She looks a little apprehensive, unsure how her heart will take seeing Tony, let alone one that isn't hers, but eventually there's a small nod.]

Sure. Going to take you to you and your husband's boss, right away.

[Seriously, how did she not end up with the nice guy? Whatever.]

Wait- my what? [Her and her husband's boss?? Her nose wrinkles in confusion. And hey, Tony is her nice guy.]

Uh, well, I mean in my world, Tony Stark is still CEO. Keeps him busy when he isn't deciding whether he should admit to be Iron Man or not.

...Tony is my husband.

[Hold the fun. Wow.]

Wow, that's... that's a weird world.

Does that make you Vision's mom by marriage?

Who am I married to in your world? [Because she can't imagine her and any one of her co-workers, which seems to be the implication as Tommy said Tony was boss to both of them.]

I- [She hesitates a moment. Vision's creation is...complicated.]

I guess...in a way? [She doesn't seem entirely comfortable taking on that title, but if Tony was something of a 'father', along with the rest of them, then she supposes that's not entirely inaccurate.]

Happy Hogan. Uh, wait, no, I think there was a divorce at some point. Shit, you'd have to ask Billy. He's WAY more up on this shit than I am.

[Well, at least Pepper has no reason to actually claim the relationship, right?]

Good thing for alternate universes. You're totally too young to be a grandmother and great-grandmother all in one, right?

Happy? [Oh. Oh no. She and Happy would never-]

I was hoping it would be a few decades before Morgan was having kids, yeah. Grandmother's not really on my radar yet.

Morgan? Uh... who is that?

[Pepper has a KID!? Wait, does that mean that if Wanda has kids because of Magic, they get to have an... aunt?]

Our daughter. [And oof, that one hurts. No Morgan in that universe. It's hard enough being away from her now, imagining a world in which she doesn't exist nearly kills her.]

Yeah, the family tree sounds almost more complicated over in your world, Pepper.

Tell me where you are. I'll help you find him.

We'll have to compare some time, - [Yeah, she never got your name. She gives a questioning look, hoping he'll fill in that pointed blank.]

[She pans around to show where she is to help him get a good idea of where to find her.]

Tommy Shepherd. Like I said, it's complicated, Ms Potts. Like... I don't even think I could draw it.

[But then he's being attentive to where her camera is panning.]

Right. I know just where you are. Hold on. I'll be right there.

[The feed turns off and then, in a gust of wind, there's Tommy right at her side, arms crossed over his chest.]

So, escort to the power plant? If he's not there I'll call Billy and ask him to magic up a location.
