You ever wonder what our characters get up to when we're not looking?

Sometimes it's hard to get two characters together. Sometimes you realize you're months into a game together and your characters never formally had a thread but surely they must know each other by now, right? Maybe they see each other on a morning jog or an evening stroll. Maybe they frequently work together or just try to hang out once a week. Maybe something else.

This meme is meant to highlight all those little daily routine things that our characters get up to. Part handwaved CR, part mental organization, this is simply to help smooth some of those questions of figuring out how our characters know each other and get right to the good stuff of making threading together easier.

So be kind, have fun, and when in doubt wave those hands in the air like you just don't care.

Residency: The basement of the library! Yellow-8. It is connected to the University, which he has remodelled into an open residence if you're looking for a place to stay. He doesn't live there, but has some security/power control over, so he's basically around the whole campus a lot.
Daily/Weekly Routine: He'll bounce between his workshop at the library, and the mini-forge on the Glitter Food, most likely building ten different insane things. A lot of those insane things are security-focused, like cameras he has installed anywhere and everywhere that he might be seen doing regular maintenance on. He's much less likely to be seen in the early morning, though his schedule is getting later and later so he might be horseshoeing around at this point and you could catch him on a dawn run if you're an early bird. Fellow nocturnal animals will probably see the most of him.

Commonly found at: He is very reliant on other people making food, so he'll be at the diner fairly frequently, where he might be being a little picky and cautious if he hasn't seen a food before, and might be trying to microwave raw meat if he's been left of his own devices. He's sometimes at the Deep End, where he's left a lot of instruments and games if you're interested in that kind of thing.
Hobbies: He would LIKE to be cruising around on a yacht, playing 4D chess and flying to the edge of space in a tin can. What you might see him doing is blowing things up and throwing himself from great heights. Mostly, he likes to build things, so you could leave a broken down dishwasher in his path and capture him like a beartrap. It might just be easier to tell him that you want something. He's like a genie, if he can't make it he'll die.

Residency: Splits his time between the residence he's been fixing up with Billy Kaplan, camping in Sh'Ka, and just generally being antisocial by camping in a place for a night or two before moving on. This is not a man who needs much in creature comforts.
Daily/Weekly Routine: This man has a ridiculous workout routine, it's absolutely feasible to find him on a run at any time of day. He's also a frequent user of the gym/training facility on his ship, though he prefers odd hours when people aren't around. Sometimes he can be found giving self defense lessons but this man is absolutely picky and won't take on just anyone who asks to be a student. That can certainly be a point of conversation or contention as is your preference! Currently he's training Billy Kaplan, Billy Hargrove, Tommy, and Tae.

Commonly found at: Currently, Sh'Ka is on his mind as there's been quite a bit of wildlife reclaiming parts of the city; he and Cal have been scouting it out. They may ask for additional help in the future if that's something you're interested in!
Hobbies: Working out. Heavy lifting. Does a lot of work on his own to keep buildings and streets clear, including fighting off wildlife. Occasionally attends Eddie's music performances and/or D&D nights. Sometimes Billy Kaplan will drag him along to social events.

Anything else: He's absolutely started to be less cagey about the whole assassin thing so it's absolutely possible for more people to know of that former "occupation". Use that knowledge as you will, mwahaha — especially if your character is at all nervous about the idea of an assassin teaching combat skills. Due to his transient tendencies it's also really easy to put him in various locations if you ever want to set something somewhere really weird.

Residency: Alec has been directed to the hotel, so that's where he lives for now. He likes his space so he's probably chosen a room that's not too near others — close enough for community, far enough to be quiet at night. It's fairly easy to catch him coming and going and very likely to have exchanged hellos with him.
Daily/Weekly Routine: This man is a fish out of water currently. Some of his daily life right now is exploring this planet, but it's far too hot to want to do much outside. He's likely easy to rope into tasks and while he hasn't selected a data point yet, it'll probably happen when he sees a need he can fill.

Commonly found at: The hotel and the diner are his common places right now. Occasionally he'll wander to the Whale Comb center but he's not had much luck with the place. On really hot days he wants down to the beach to try to cool off in the breeze off the water.
Hobbies: Most of what Alec did at home — train to fight demons — he can't do here without his weapons. He can still be found working out and possibly looking frustrated over the lack of the kind of facility he's used to. He likes to read as well and will eventually find the library (with what's probably much ensuing disappointment at its contents).

Anything else: Alec is still pretty new and hasn't gotten up to much yet. That should absolutely change.

Residency: Orange-18, Donnie's made ...wow, why have I been calling these things warehouses? a factory into his workshop and partial greenhouse, with living space for himself and his brother but there's still plenty of room. And skateboard ramps galore. This is what happens when you let teenagers design their house.

Daily/Weekly Routine: Donnie seems to never be without something to do. He's taken the whole problem of 'Doing Something About the Storms' and 'Bringing the Agrii Home' quite seriously, because that is why they brought him here, isn't it? Since a lot of his work holes him up at the Forge or his workshop, or in Sh'Ka at Robotnik's abandoned workshop, the only times one might catch him wandering is en route to the aforementioned places or checking out his garden experiment at Green-17. Potentially zombie-ing over to the diner for a fresh pot of coffee to snatch, and maybe food if he remembers to eat. He might be considered one of the resident night owls but only because he tends to forget what time it is when he's deep in a project and sometimes goes for days without sleep. One of these days maybe someone will notice.

....OH I almost forgot about The Project. You know, he hasn't canonically built the turtle blimp so...

Commonly found at: If not at his place, then he can be found at the Forge. He'd been avoiding it for a while ever since the...fight (????) with Tony but he's come back to it because he needs to use the thing, just be warned, if anyone does venture in there when he's at work, they may be subjected to loud techno or dubstep. If you're lucky you'll catch the 80s pop hour in which he may be jammy-jammin'.

Hobbies: Botany, perhaps surprisingly. He's been collecting a lot of weird specimens, including growing bloodvines along one side of the factory wall as a natural security defense. He's also got a robot hanging around. Actually...he's got quite a few robots that he's refitted and reprogrammed that Robotnik had made, but Slashtag aka Scuttle is the one hanging around Temba. Looks like a spider crossed with a crab, was formerly a Robotnik crab-bot. Likes to make friends and accidentally scare people.

Commonly found at: Leo can sometimes be found around Donnie, but he gets pretty bored when Donnie is wrapped up in a project (which is most of the time here), so it’s common to find him wandering around. He spends most of his time in the more populated parts of Temba, but sometimes he wanders out to the outskirts, and while it’s hot he can be found at the beach to cool off.

Daily/Weekly Routine: Spends a lot of time in his lab and just minding his own business. This business varies from developing weapons and tools to engineering weird creatures. Themis is one of his projects. As is some weird, oversized bird-creature that so far remains unnamed. What we know so far is that it likes to glare at Wesker.

Commonly found at: He sometimes can be bothered with looking after the odd patient at the hospital when Tae isn't available. But mostly he sticks to his own projects and does not appreciate getting bothered. Can be spotted around both cities but doesn't socialize.
Hobbies: Wesker doesn't understand the concept of a hobby. Why waste time on something unproductive when he can get some actual work done?
