Regarding November Activity
As silent as the mod team has been in the last weeks in several areas, we have still been around to notice the general tension many of our players are going through at this time of year. We do see that this has been harder than it has been in years past, and after some discussion have come up with what we hope is the best way that we can support our players.
If you have been around in The Revival Project for more than a year you might be aware that we typically give December as an AC free month because of the holidays and our lack of mod driven event or plot points. However this year is clearly proving to be something special. As such we have decided that November will require only a check in for characters without a strike. In fact, when you read this post we very strongly encourage you to go submit your check-in right away. Better safe than sorry.
Normally in a situation like this we would then go on to add that to clear an AC strike a character needs to hit standard AC. However, as we said, we recognize an unusually stressful period in the game. As such characters that possess a strike will only need one-half AC to clear a strike earned in October. Basically if you can give us five tags in the game community, you will clear your strike. However, we will stipulate that this particular set of five tags must be in a single thread and in the game community, not a character inbox.
None of this will prevent our players from taking a hiatus in November should you need it. If you find you need it late in the month, please reach out with a direct message to this mod account. December's Check-In Only AC will not be changed (which means if you really want to, you could technically check in for both November and December right now, it won't be held against you).
We hope this will help alleviate any stress/concerns players may have about meeting quotas in game this month. There will still be a November plot-event that we hope you will really enjoy, and as nothing is planned for December, players will have the option to request the event extending into mid-December should there be enough call for it. Expect a post about the event by Friday at the latest (and sometime tomorrow is more likely).
Finally, yes, there will be New Tick Gifts. After the event post is up Mod Churby will make sure to get that prepared.
