Town meeting discussion (part 1?)
I talked about this on Discord some, but I wanted to make sure there was a post all players could see and join in the discussion - Ezra, after talking about it with a few people, is going to call a town meeting/get together to talk about rebuilding, exploration, and what other goals the residents collectively might want to bring up.
HE'S going to think of it as an open forum that he's just the catalyst for, not something he's in charge of. I certainly don't have a particular end point or result in mind. Structurally, in the next day or so, I plan to put a log up describing how he calls things together and a bit about what he says when people show up, with possibly some thread starters for topics and mingling.
However, I am definitely open to suggestions on how to do this. I know big group things are hard to do in this format. I don't want people to feel left out or railroaded. If you don't have the time to write out a lot in character, or your character wouldn't show up, feel free to drop a comment here. This post can partly work like a focused handwaved CR meme, I think. If actually voting on a topic IC is something that comes up, we could also do polls here, or on future editions of posts like this.
Does that make sense? Have at with questions, comments, concerns.

It may also be valuable for there to be a TL in here, or some other OOC forum, that summarizes conversations had to allow people to know where conversations go so people don't have to read everything to feel they are properly educated on the full conversation.
As for other things: Reeve will once again (as he has done before but before most people here now were here) be offering his assistance on rebuilding and planning efforts given the fact that he's an experienced architect and city planner, not to mention having many years of experience of organizing rebuilding efforts in ruins like this. He will be very proactive in his plans, as well as reminding people that while he is personally focused on their comfort because that is what he can assist with, there still needs to be focus on solving the problem that brought them here.
Lauri-Ell is going to suggest that those leaving the city to explore or do other things, either make sure to take Security data point or there be a system for those who are armed/combat capable can go with them and assist because she believes the storms must come from away. She knows that her people use terraforming and atmospheric control to create agreeable climates and is of the opinion this is the source of the problem. She would vocally suggest that people start making parties for further from the city exploration now that weather is kinder/more seasonable.
Tommy's going ot listen, mock organization, and probably throw wrench into the works because of who he is but is also going to probably snark people. This guy also has the biggest potential to create problems because he's pretty seriously anti-establishment/government/etc because he doesn't trust people who want power/leadership.
