[Event] Temba's first Rain Fare & Valentine's Mini Event!

The weather in Temba is sunny, yet still cold enough for the snow to remain without melting. Nothing seems to be off when you wake up this morning and begin going about your business. Once you step outside your home of choice, however, you could swear you're hearing something. Is this… Music? Maybe you even live close enough to pick up on the smell. A distinct scent of food seems to hang in the air. A mixture of different sweets, grilled meat and fried vegetables which is difficult to truly identify, yet certainly smells edible.
Following either your nose or ears will take you towards the North-West part of Temba, where the usually open space between the hangar and the first actual buildings of the city is not as open and empty as it normally presents itself. There are tents here as well as small, wooden huts, everything set up around a wooden stage and a bonfire. Colorful pennant chains and flags decorate the entire setup, but aside from that, there also seem to be- People?
But while you comprehend what you are looking at, you may just notice the large banner set up at the very entrance of this new discovery, which reads as follows, written in your by now familiar Agrii purple:
Yes, you may rest assured. The Agrii are, again, treating you, their He-Rows, to a good time of fun, food and… Well. Fun and food.
What food, you wonder? Now there actually is a variety to choose from. Among the huts you can find some offering sweets of different types, shapes and colors that certainly taste sweet, yet maintain a probably familiar underlying taste of peanut butter. Other huts offer meat or fish, grilled over open flames, fried vegetables and even Langos that all smell delicious and match the texture of what they appear to be when eaten. And yet, these delicacies also come with the distinct taste of peanut butter mixed into the taste one would expect the respective food to have.
Apparently the Agrii have made some effort to improve the food they are offering.
Aside from that, there are other things for you to entertain yourself as well. You may step on the stage, where a few instruments are waiting, and go ahead, make some music. As long as no one wants to make use of it, a soft, somewhat off-tune music will play from an impossible to locate source. A potion brewery lets you mix your own potions, which really just come down to be whichever drink you want to mix together. Similarly there is a tent where you can make your own candles, one where you can sew your own costumes and even a small forge for all your blacksmithing desires. Materials for these will spontaneously respawn once depleted and no one is looking, and of course you can keep your crafts.
If you are less interested in creating something, this fair has even more to offer. Test yourself at the climbing wall, but be mindful of the lack of safety lines. Next to it waits a treasure pit for you to dig up some sparkling rocks out of a hole filled with the purple sand from Temba's beach. These rocks likely have no value, yet look pretty. A large ship swing stands to one side of the fair, with the ship model used on it maybe looking familiar to those heroes that were on the Agrii ship all this time ago. Alternatively, climb into a big barrel and let yourself be spun into dizziness.
There are even various training areas set up around the fair. Try yourself at some archery, throw daggers at a target, or if you never held a sword before, over there are some dummies and simple weapons to try yourself out a little. Just don’t try to turn any of these weapons against one of your fellow heroes, for the weapon will simply disappear if you do so.
The bonfire invites for some relaxation, and similar to the beach party back in summer, baskets are set up next to some seats around it. Within these baskets are small bundles which can be tossed into the fire to create colorful flames and various sparkling effects. Sit back, enjoy your potion and see what the fortune cookie you picked up at one of the stands has to offer to you.
Now as for the people you are seeing around? Well. They are certainly dressed to match the setting of a common renaissance fair, but you will quickly have noticed that they aren’t moving. At all. They can’t even be touched and trying to do so will quickly reveal them to be mere projections of people put up as some sort of decoration, perhaps. There are still things the Agrii can’t provide, unfortunately, but they sure will try.
No, we totally didn't forget about this! Anyway. Remember how Valentine's Day falls right into the event period? Right. It's time to bring back memories of last year's Valentine's Day because the Agrii say so. At Midnight on the 14th of February, all the snow still covering the ground and even the snow currently falling will go WHOOMPF! - and turn into your familiar red/pink/purple particles of heart- and star-shaped glitter. Yes, this year some of the hearts are shaped like actual hearts as well.
The glitter will stay, of course, and the effect isn't limited to the ren fair area but go in effect for all of Temba and Sh'Ka. At least that means the snow is gone.
FAQ
How long will the event go?
What is the deal with the projections?
...why does everything taste like peanut butter?
I have a question!
Feel free to use this post for all your plottening needs <3

Re: Questions?
2. Is it possible to locate how/where the people-projections are coming from? Are they Agrii-people, human-people, something else?

2. All projections are human and no on the locating.

Zet's Nonsenses
Jon
His curiosity will have him try the food, of course, and because he has a great history at handling weapons, he will go throw some daggers or something along those lines.
Enjoying the bonfire is right up his alley as well. As for the return of the glittery nonsense.......... Well. That way he will at least know it's Valentine's Day. Watch him try to make something for Tony 8D
Re: Jon
why does this sound like a threat

Bruno
Naturally he will be out to grab some food. And very much unlike Jon, Bruno actually has a creative streak and will be able to put the crafting stations to some use. For what? We'll see. It's bound to be sparkly.
He's also the one interested in the more playful activities, if only because he is unfamiliar with them. The weapons don't interest him, at all. In fact, he'll be a bit weary of them. The treasure pit..... Well. He's a bit careful around the sand. For no reasons at all.
Hi
But I also figure he's going to be around the training area and the bonfire unless he gets dragged elsewhere.
what's this about costumesI'm throwing things out and I realize things are starting I'm just very slow and not all there
