If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.

Spring in Temba and Sh'Ka

While the snow has disappeared, the glitter it appears to have turned into remains. Small red, pink, white and purple particles, some in the shapes of stars and little hearts (both realistic and stylized) are covering Temba in a sparkling blanket just as the snow had before. Walking through it will send glittering swirls of it into the air to settle back on the ground again gently.

Despite the sparkling cover, young plants have begun to sprout, young green stems peeking out between pink and red and purple.

Sh'Ka, also, has been freed of its more icy coverage. The glitter here is a lot finer and the layer of it covering the overgrown city not nearly as thick as in Temba. Instead, the glittery mist every move brushes up in the air hangs there much longer and seems reluctant, even, to settle back down.

Despite those differences both cities are currently very, very sparkly...

Explore ~~the city~~ Temba!

Here's a map of Temba and a bit more description of some of the buildings here.

Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working, but power is intermittent and unreliable. What used to be stores or places to live in lies in ruins, but there may still be something to scavenge among the rubble. Do you want to risk a swim in the flooded area that has turned into a deep lake that has yet to be fully explored; or does it draw you to some of the more prominent and partially restored buildings, such as the hotel, the hospital or the amphitheater.

If you are lucky, you might even stumble over The Deep End, the bar located on one of the mid-levels of the tower residences in one of the residence towers. Unfortunately no bright neon signs can lead you there, but it does exist.

Visit the spaceships!

That's right, there are currently several small spaceships sitting in the hangar. Not all of them may be around when you check out the building, as one of the pilots may be using one of them to fly over to Sh'Ka. But there should still enough of them around for you to inspect and maybe wonder about. However, only one of them will open its doors for you. Do you dare to step inside? Check out the protein paste or maybe even meet one of your crew mates?

Try the network!

Upon arrival, your character will have on their person a small, handheld communications device. Maybe they know exactly how to use a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and immediately blast out a text or video trying to figure out what's going on. Or maybe they're not so tech-savvy after all, and everyone is about to get a lovely shot right up your character's left nostril.

There be storms...

These power-altering storms keep ravaging parts of the planet every once in a while. No one truly knows where they come from or what to do about them yet, but one of them appears to be approaching. You have the option to find shelter in one of the buildings to wait for it to pass. Unless, of course, you rather feel drawn to investigate.

Should you step inside the storm, or even get lost in it, it will show ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? Maybe you will simply find yourself calling for help or stumble across another lost soul in need of assistance.

You're welcome to use any previous test drive scenarios or previous game events as a basis for a thread/situation, or simply make up your own! Keep in mind that you're currently stranded on a planet with only basic necessities, but there is enough food and fresh water. Creature comforts, however, seem to be distinctly lacking. Quite unlike a gathering of potentially dangerous creatures to encounter. The setting is yours to explore and have fun with!

As far as I have read, he and Miss Wanda were from Sokovia where the Avengers went to take down Ultron after he killed me. Unfortunately, Mr. Pietro was killed in the battle according to the records made. Miss Wanda still lives though. Right, uncle. I think a few data areas of my programming got lost in the re-uploading of me, sir. My apologies.

You could go with internet slang for conveying that, but only the young people will get it. And even not all of the young ones here.

Right, Vizh told me that Ultron killed you. Can I apologize for that, on behalf of my grandfather? It was wrong you had to go through that. Wrong like Mom lost her twin. It's not right, for a Maximoff Witch to be without their Speedster. It's just not right. Even back home, when they don't always get along, they always know the other can be relied on to support them.

Still, I think maybe you're not, like, from the version of your world I know. I mean, if you're around after Pietro isn't, then that's different.

Age wise, I may be one of the youngest ones here with the oldest personality. Fun. You do not need to apologize, since Ultron was the one that did it, not you. I do not have emotions, but I do feel sorry that Miss Maximoff lost her brother. It's probably not comparable, but I did "feel" similarly when our home in Malibu was destroyed and DUM-E and YOU were lost in the wreckage of the house. It was like losing two brothers - I couldn't connect to them. Perhaps not? Apparently the multi-verse is a thing, I think.

You could play the 'age is just a number' card.

I don't know what losing a sibling is like, if I'm honest. Family's not something I've been as familiar with. Though being here has changed that some.

Technically it is a number, sir. A number dictated by the number of times one has survived yearly revolutions around the sun of our solar system. My age and my programming are all just numbers. You didn't really insult me that much. Billy wouldn't care. Mom wouldn't care. Pietro wouldn't get it. Vizh would probably shrug, Viv wouldn't really care too much and would argue that you're completely accurate in the statement. That's my family in my world.

But what about you? Would it bother you? If someone joked you're calculus, would you be like 'nah I'm not any magic, just all numbers'? Just curious.

I am glad to hear I didn't insult you too much. It is not my intention to do so, Tommy. I suppose I am a form of math, just an advanced computer math that no one else could replicate. But I do understand what you're trying to convey to me and I apologize for making a harmful joke towards you, Tommy. I'll see to it that it does not happen again.

I don't think you get what I'm trying to convey at all. You said if you'd insulted me 'and my family'. I told you Ultron's my grandfather. Sorta. Think about it. Ultron, in your world, he's made by Stark.

Taking that math, you ARE family. Like an extra uncle. So, if the joke's chill with you, then it isn't a slight to family. And if you're gonna pull the self-deprecating but not self-destructive, that literally means you're more balanced than most of the family.

I understand better now. I suppose I was looking at the wrong part of the picture you were attempting to show and explain to me. Does that... math still work if we're not even from the same universe? Not that I mind, of course! I find family trees can sometimes be... messy when I attempt to follow some of them. ...It is amusing knowing that I'm the one most balanced out of this family s-Tommy.

So yeah. My family tree is one of the most fucked in the universe, since I think Billy is actually also Thor's grandfather or some shit? Maximoff family is fucked to high hell. Doesn't mean we aren't fucking amazing.

That certainly seems to be quite a lot. Perhaps I would've understood the family tree more if I had time to look into it before being brought here. Though if that were the case, I wouldn't know to look since we wouldn't have had this interaction. So far from said interaction, I do agree that you are amazing. I can only imagine how far the family tree extends and gets muddied outside of the universe I am from. I'm not sure I want to be related to someone with no fashion sense. The tabloids could have a field day with that. Honestly you're the only one who has come close and that's impressive in itself. I'm only at an advantage not needing to manually do things and instead simply think of it and it appears as the message I want. I think Sbilly sounds like someone mispronouncing 'silly' on purpose. It was simply a joke, Tommy. I do not have the correct system to process actual food. I do enjoy a good cookie every now and again though. Vizh seems like a nice person. I haven't read any books lately, though I've been preoccupied by the state Ultron attempted to leave me in. If I could find decent ones to download, and possibly share with you, books could be something talk about together. At your speed of course.

And sadly I don't take after your side of the family enough to enjoy your sort. Damn. Always wondered what they taste like. I imagined junk food because it's sorta like junk data or something?
