AC Results And Mini Event Announcement
The March Activity Check is completed. We thank everyone who turned in your AC in a timely manner and would remind players that if you took a strike this month, either after replying to the AC post or by failing to post to the AC page at all, it will take double AC to clear this. If you have a reason you cannot complete such in the month of APril, please message Mod Churby ASAP to discuss your situation. Below the cut you will find the list of this month's strikes and drops.
As always, see the comments for this month's AC Completion silliness: April Fools Pranks! As will be noted in that comment, these aren't happening IC, as most of them are things the Agrii wouldn't know about. Those of you who are particularly excited by them might be able to find a way to unleash your prank on your fellow He Rows though, maybe with the help of the replicator and some creative interpretation. It's really all up to you.
For those curious about the results of the discussion of AC changes, it will be another week before we have more news for you there.
April Mini Event!
Is it really April without some sort of silly happenings? (Yes it is but hey, we're doing it anyway). Some of you may remember that about a year ago we had a lovely meme where the network was all mixed up and was sending text messages incorrectly? Wouldn't be an absolute shame if the same thing happened on Tuesday, April 12th?
That's right, in an attempt to gain deeper understanding of how her datapoint works and all of the technology that comes with it, our very own fiber artist Lark will be trying to understand just how it was that Beck hid Tony Stark's data from the network (yes it's been fixed, but curious minds). In the process she will be temporarily scrambling the communications network. For one day, and one day only, it will be impossible to post any communications network wide postings, whether they be audio, video, or simple text. In fact, the only thing that will function is the hero-to-hero messaging system. And it's going to direct your messages incorrectly.
Given the nature of this event we feel the best way to get you out there and scrambled will be to set this up something like the previous meme was. We'll be setting up a post to the game comm with thetrpmememods (so none of your messages to the mods get lost in notifications), a little setting of the stage and explanation of the day long event. At that point we very much encourage our players to put in comment, labeled with their character name, to that post. From there, just go find other characters and send them a message meant for someone else. See where the conversations take you! You might even make new friends in the confusion.
Our presumption as mods is that there is actually a lot more background chatter being sent between heroes than is ever played out, and this event will be a slice of that gone wrong. Maybe your character is used to telling another stories before they go to bed at night. Maybe two people swap designs back and forth, or get into meme wars. Perhaps it's something as simple as sending messages about what you hope will be for dinner at the diner, or speculating on some loud noise coming from a specific area of town. Whatever it is, send it to someone that it was not meant for, and perhaps someone you've never spoken to before.
The event will end on the morning of Wednesday the 13th, when some Communications person (or persons) with more skill than Lark either get to the bottom of the problem and repair it, or stop having so much fun with the mistake and decide to fix the system. While network posts can be posted to the game community on Tuesday the 12th, please note if they are forward or back dated because no gamewide network posts will be available for that one day only.
