Welcome to August. It's time for our monthly IC announcements.

✧ EORZEA ENDING ✧

The last IC day on Eorzea will be August 10th. On the 11th all characters on the planet will feel compelled too return to the ships, as was previously mentioned in the event announcement. Once on the ships, characters will be unable to return to the planet surface. Please look over the FAQ for the event to see what can and cannot come back with you. If you have questions, please ask in the Eorzea event post.

Any character who was on Hiatus in July can either choose to have returned during this event, return on the ships as they are coming to land on the 11th, or to return after the next event starts. No He Rows will start prior to the 11th on the surface of Agra-10.

Further information for what you find upon your return to Agra-10 will arrive on August 11th with the new event. As a reminder, closing of an event does not mean that people cannot continue to tag the previous event. There is no OOC close for this, just an IC end date.

✧ AUGUST SETTING CHANGES ✧

Summer still dominates Agra-10 during the month of August, and so does the prior feeling of overgrowth. Temperatures will continue to rise to uncomfortable levels, before starting to taper off later in the month. Expect some natural, non-energy storms and rains, especially in Temba, as the increased heat leads to increased evaporation in the oceans and more weather patterns form from this. The increased rain may also have something to do with...

Even more growth. Characters should assume that, whether in Temba or Sh'Ka in the month of August, you are frequently battling intense levels of overgrowth. Grasses, vines, trees and shrubs, if you can think of it, it has grown faster than expected. The exception is in water. There is no marked increase in plant and algae levels in bodies of water or on their surfaces.

The plant growth speed is is rather extreme, and even those areas cleared outside might well grow back overnight. Good luck He Rows. Wonder what all this might have to do with what will come when you return to the planet...
