Tommy Shepherd / Speed

Character: Tommy "Speed" Shepherd. Don't call him Thomas (his full name) or Tom. He won't like it.
Canon: Canon Young Avengers, post Volume 2.
What they are like: An 18 year old Speedster who doesn't trust adults and is shocked to have fun into versions of his soul-father (Vision) and soul-mother (Wanda) here. He's REALLY happy to be here to help people as a hero, because that's what he's about. At the same time he's got seeming attention span issues, he likes to sass adults, and may poke his nose in places they don't belong in time.
Looking for: Getting Tommy some friends so he's not just focusing on keeping his twin brother safe. Want him to get to know some of the MCU Avenger people and variations on them because he needs to see them as different from the people he knew back home. I would love for him to make friends and maybe someday in the future, possible more serious relationships. And he definitely is taking metaphorical applications for best friend.
Notes: Did I mention he's not really good with emotions?

Tommy is trying so hard not to drop that detail. And yes. Bonding time is so awkward.

Super slow on jumping in here, BUT I did super want CR with Tommy!! Teenage superhero friends?? It'll be so good. James is actually pretty happy to be here since the world he's from is terrible, though he's not so thrilled to be here without his adopted siblings.

Tho I ended up sorta forgetting about the TDM after I did app stuff oops. So I wanted to ask if you wanted to do something new or I can just give you the latest of tag-backs :33

ETA: Just checked James' log post. Sadly it's not one Tommy would jump on himself. So maybe we could arrange a different first meeting. Like, maybe at the hotel or just around the open spaces between buildings?

Yeah, I can definitely write up something for them bumping into each other when James is trying to get settled at the hotel something-something, stuff like that. He's pretty easy.
