TRIAL BY FIRE
A POWER SWAP MEME
Your powers aren't working. Your powers aren't working, and suddenly you find that you can do something else entirely. And you're going to have to figure out this new set of skills very fast, because something has gone terribly wrong.
NEW BLOOD/Action! Someone new has appeared at the fountain, and they've taken this as an opportunity to cause chaos. The hotel is already on fire, and they're dragging a hostage away into the greenhouse to find out what else is flammable.
FRESH MEAT/Creeps! The sun has started to set earlier than you're used to, so when you disembark the train to Sh'Ka, it's already eerily dark. Something is moving in the bushes, whispering and slithering near the ground. The smell of rot is growing stronger.
OLD BONES/SOL! Today is finally the day that you're making this place comfortable, so you're going to have to drag that couch all the way from the department store, maybe even up the impossibly tall stairs. And when that's all done, you've commited to cooking a meal to bribe someone to help you. And then someone's going to have to clean this mess up.

WHAT TO DO
1. Post a toplevel detailing your character's power set. Include any fun, weird quirks, or details only an experienced user would know so that someone else can be inflicted with them!
2. Anyone who toplevels is fair game--you don't have to 1:1 swap powers with the person that you're tagging, so your thread partner may be just as baffled as you are.

-powered via the WANT of the caster in Billy's case. Billy often chants the desired outcome ie- 'Iwantafunmeme.Iwantafunmeme'. Technically this isn't required, but your character would need another way to focus on the desire.
-the magic tends to display with a blue light around the hands and/or eyes
-some examples of more basic things that can be done with the magic: flying, teleportation (can't go from one city to the next, and can't teleport home), telekinesis
