SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME

SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME
Application FAQ | Taken Characters | Reserves | Application
Welcome to the Current Test Drive for The Revival Project!
This game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about the game, including more details on the setting, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.
A thread on the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.
If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.
So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!
Thread ideas:
Spring in Temba and Sh'Ka
The native animals of both cities become more active again as well and especially the birbs residing around Temba's beach produce a noise that can be picked up even in certain parts of the city. Would it be wise to disturb them?
And while the weather has clearly turned warmer and the sun shows notably more presence, spring remains comparably wet. Strong showers of sudden rain are very likely to surprise an exploring He Row when they least expect them.
Explore
Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working and power has been restored to be reliable. What used to be stores or places to live in lies in ruins, but there may still be something to scavenge among the rubble. Do you want to risk a swim in the flooded area that has turned into a deep lake that has proven to be home to verious harmful creatures; or does it draw you to some of the more prominent and partially restored buildings, such as the hotel, the hospital or the amphitheater.
If you are lucky, you might even stumble over The Deep End, the bar located on one of the mid-levels of the tower residences in one of the residence towers. Unfortunately no bright neon signs can lead you there, but it does exist.
Visit the spaceships!
Try the network!
There be storms...
Should you step inside the storm, or even get lost in it, it will show ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? Maybe you will simply find yourself calling for help or stumble across another lost soul in need of assistance.

"...come on," Eddie encourages softly after a beat, guiding her away from the window.
Any luck and they'll all stay out there and leave them in peace. But neither of them are doing super well when it comes to luck these days. Bad rolls all around.
"What are you doing out here, anyways?" he distracts, as if he isn't in the exact same situation himself.

She lets Eddie turn her away from the window and draw her farther into the building, troubled expression on her face.
And, fair question. "Just...needed some air, I guess. And then it started to storm so I came looking for shelter. I remembered what that orb thing -- said or whatever. About the storms. How they wiped out most of this place." She'd rather not get wiped out of existence. Possibly for a second time? It's hard to say what really happened back home. She's trying not to dwell too much on the possibilities. "What about you?"
no subject
Ah. He gets a guilty grin then and slightly sheepishly fishes out a can of spray paint from the side pocket of his vest.
He maaaay have been defacing some of the upper floors with giants dicks. There was a lot of time in the day to kill, and a lot of run down ruins.
He tips the can towards her with an inviting look, head tilting. It's one way to distract from the storm outside- a little light vandalism.

Despite herself, her lips quirk upwards in amusement, because -- seriously. Of course he's been making graffiti on the walls. But so far she doesn't get the sense that there's anyone policing this place, so to speak so.
"I have no real art skills," she informs him eve as she takes the can. She's not Will.
no subject
"You ever use this stuff?" he asks.
no subject
No, she hasn't indulged in any light vandalism in her short 15 years, Eddie. She's just been part of a number of other crimes. She likes to think it's okay because it's all been for the greater good, really.
no subject
"You're going to shake it," he mimes, "Make sure the nozzle isn't pointed at your face," his tone suggests -YES, that is a mistake he's made before-, "Point and spray. Closer to the wall for a thin line, further for more spread."
no subject
"Okay. Think I got it." She stands close to the wall and starts making a vertical line.

Eddie gives Max a little space to work, and for the moment at least- refrains from adding another giant dick to the wall- instead scrawling out- Eddie the Banished was here.
no subject
She glances at his own graffiti and ends up writing Mad Max.
no subject
He looks back over with a grin to see her finished piece, nodding his approval, "Nice. Look at you. You're all ready better than I started."
no subject
She takes a couple steps back to look at both of their tags. "Beginner's luck?"
no subject
He shakes his head, grinning, "Nah, you did good. No luck about it, Red."
no subject
Max looks back at Eddie, and it's honestly hard not to smile when he grins like that, like she'd actually done something pride-worthy, even if it's just decent vandalism.
"You know. If anyone else called me that, I'd probably punch them," she tells him. She's not sure why it doesn't bother her when it's Eddie doing it.
no subject
He laughs, a teasing smirk playing on his face, and it's a good thing she doesn't mind all that much, because Eddie enjoys his pet-names.
"Yeah? Guess I'm lucky then. Bet you pack a wallop."
no subject
"You bet I do." She smirks back at him.
