SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME

SPRING TEST DRIVE MEME
Application FAQ | Taken Characters | Reserves | Application
Welcome to the Current Test Drive for The Revival Project!
This game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about the game, including more details on the setting, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.
A thread on the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.
If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.
So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!
Thread ideas:
Spring in Temba and Sh'Ka
The native animals of both cities become more active again as well and especially the birbs residing around Temba's beach produce a noise that can be picked up even in certain parts of the city. Would it be wise to disturb them?
And while the weather has clearly turned warmer and the sun shows notably more presence, spring remains comparably wet. Strong showers of sudden rain are very likely to surprise an exploring He Row when they least expect them.
Explore
Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working and power has been restored to be reliable. What used to be stores or places to live in lies in ruins, but there may still be something to scavenge among the rubble. Do you want to risk a swim in the flooded area that has turned into a deep lake that has proven to be home to verious harmful creatures; or does it draw you to some of the more prominent and partially restored buildings, such as the hotel, the hospital or the amphitheater.
If you are lucky, you might even stumble over The Deep End, the bar located on one of the mid-levels of the tower residences in one of the residence towers. Unfortunately no bright neon signs can lead you there, but it does exist.
Visit the spaceships!
Try the network!
There be storms...
Should you step inside the storm, or even get lost in it, it will show ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? Maybe you will simply find yourself calling for help or stumble across another lost soul in need of assistance.

"I didn't ask to be here, none of that bullshit from that glowing orb makes any sense to me, and now I'm stuck here." And it was raining.
no subject
He goes into his room and gets a towel, holding it out to Billy. "Here you go. Here's some jeans too."
no subject
It gets bitten between teeth so he can take the offered towel, with the smoke curling up around his blond curls like a halo. "Got a place to change? I'm not shy but I know others don't like me treating their place like a locker room."
no subject
"I'm not shy either," he smirks. "You can just go ahead. I'd rather you didn't smoke in here, though," he adds. "If you wanna take your own room in the hotel, you can smoke all you want in there."
no subject
"Got a shirt, too? I don't know if the city residents will be able to resist any of this if I don't wear one."
no subject
"Yeah, I've got some." He holds out a gray T-Shirt.
no subject
"So how does this work? I just pick wherever I want to stay and claim it as mine? Probably no mechanic place here, doesn't look like there's any cars."
no subject
"Yeah, pretty much. There's a couple of techie people. I myself am good with motorcycles, if I had the parts to make some."
no subject
He turns with an interested look. "Motorcycles huh? I have a Camaro back home. A Chevrolet 1979 Z28 model that's the baddest thing, east or west coast." A pause. "Never rode a motorcycle before."
no subject
"Motorcycles are amazing," he says. "There's nothing else quite like them. Flying down the road in the open air ... it feels so free."
no subject
He blows the smoke up to the ceiling. "What kind of bike you got? Did it come with you here?"
no subject
"My bike's a Harley. All of my friends have them in our motorcycle gang. And nah, it's not here. I haven't been able to get it, either." Radley sighs.
no subject
He goes to the window, half tempted to open it and shout to the sky that the aliens were wrong and he needs it. But Billy doesn't, instead content to lean against it while he smokes instead.
"Maybe somewhere in this hellhole there's parts to make a bike or a car here."
no subject
no subject
"So what is there to do for fun here? Kegstands? Parties in general? Cars are off the table it seems." Ash gets flicked off of the cigarette and he takes another draw from it
no subject
"There's a lot of exploring, trying to figure the place out. Sometimes there's parties or other events. We've got a karaoke machine. It's all pretty lackluster compared to home, aside from the exploring. But it's something."
no subject
"Got anything else? Actually fun? Like a bar or clubs or shit? I'm guessing no, since this place looks like hell." And Billy isn't impressed. Nor is he probably impressing Radley with his behavior. "It would be so much better if I had my car here."
no subject
He's definitely not impressed by Billy's behavior, and as he comes down from the euphoria of talking about vehicles, he is still highly annoyed by the cigarette antics.
"There's a bar," he says. "But you're right, there's not a whole lot."
no subject
"A bar is good enough. Maybe make myself the keg king while I'm here." He starts towards the door, intending to go down to the lobby to wait out the rest of the rain. Maybe test said lobby if they have working smoke detectors or not. "Thanks for the clothes. Maybe I'll pay you back at some point."
no subject
"There may already be one of those," Radley smirks. "But you're welcome to try." He really has no idea what the barfly situation is. He rarely visits it.
"Sure," he says, somewhat doubting any paying back will happen but also not counting it out either.
