Welcome to April. It's time for our monthly IC announcements.

✧ APRIL SETTING CHANGES ✧

The early bloom and growth of the early spring has given way to a vibrant and life filled mid-spring. Plants are blooming and growing, trees start to shade the cities, and there is an undeniable uproar of noise from the Birbs. Well, the Birbs are only a pest in Temba, so those in Sh'Ka can instead deal with the early mating season of the Deleons, who are crooning a truly loud and hard to ignore song through the trees.

Weather will continue to be mostly temperate with a higher degree of sunny and pleasantly warm days with a scattering of drizzle until late April. Around the 28th there will be a massive thunderstorm that will last most of the day, though comes with no signs of the Energy Storm effects. Just your normal heavy storm with all the rain, lightning, and yes, downed plantlife that might entail. Make sure all your valuable possessions are inside, you don't want to have them blown away.

✧ RECENT STORY SUMMARY ✧

Talk about a busy month! For a time where the Agrii weren't overly energetic, the He Rows of the planet of Agra 10 sure got up to a lot of business. There have been tree incidents and explosions, birthdays and explorations, and many things beside. Late in March some strange structures appeared, as well as large creatures that might well be protecting them. Of course no one was actually able to face those monsters, so who knows what was up with that.

In terms of new knowledge gained (though gained retroactively), Dustin finally confirmed with the Funfronds what their historical records stated about the Interlopers, also known as the Agrii. Their story tells much and paints a strange picture of what they experienced, and so they were encouraged to seek more records from the Barry of Sh'Ka, a task Dustin spent much of the winter months building up toward via regular food offerings to the colony. Stay tuned for just what is learned there.

In community growth news, the Agrii have welcomed some new He Rows to help out with the restoration of the world. Seems like they're even familiar to some current He Rows. And while at some point in March they absconded with Cal Kestis, the young Jedi and his droid friend have returned to Temba with more experience under their belts. Hopefully all of them will be comfortable in what is to come.

What's Been Going On?

Has your He Row found some information that everyone might want to know that might not have been noticed? Are there summaries of interesting things they got up to that you’d like to share? Well, take the chance here to provide that information and summaries for sharing! Don’t just look back at previous months, but feel free to add information here throughout the month to allow Mods to possibly incorporate that information into future summaries.

After all, when He Rows are all informed of what is going on, they might be able to use that information to continue building the results they want to see on Agra-10!

Just figured I should make mention somewhere but Dustin's told Donnie about how the storms affect non-native plant species and the Funfronds' intervention to keep them under control, so he's been looking into studying those effects more closely.

He has taken some small samples from the greenhouse and has set up a garden of sorts within the ruins of ...let's say Blue 4 since it's conveniently uninhabitable. He also has a control group of the same plants and will totally make use of some of the hydroponics setup aboard the Twin Roses to limit as much exposure to external elements as possible.

He's also replicated a microscope for closer studies on cellular levels and related items that would help in that (for the record I am not a scientist).

Should I do that here or on the plot post thing... Well I'm here right now so I'll just plop a thing now.

I'll move to the other one later as things comes up but would there be any changes from whatever he sees initially prior to what he'd be able to observe once he's gotten things propagated. Maybe like a day's time, then three, then a week.

The plants in Blue 4 will start growing a little faster than the hydroponics control (or even greenhouse control if he does that too). But even by a week there isn't extreme difference. It will be at bit longer before he can see some more progress. Probably late june to july before he will start seeing more results.
