Welcome to April. It's time for our monthly IC announcements.

✧ APRIL SETTING CHANGES ✧

The last time He Rows stood on Agra-10 the regions of the planet the He Rows wandered were consumed by the inescapable grip of winter. But seasons will change, winter to spring, and it is to this latter that He Rows return. While it is still early spring when they disembark from their ships they will find that the battle they had to wage against the winter snows has finally been won. The streets are clear and along them and amid their cracks there are signs of new grasses, shoots, and other young plants stretching toward the sky. What's more it won't be hard to catch glimpses of the roving forms of the Barrys and Funfronds, some of whom seem cheerfully glad to see the return of the He Rows.

Actually, that's probably more true than they might realize. Those with Communications will be able to get that from the mouths (metaphorically) of the species themselves. There are Funfrond plant caring crews going around tending to spring plants and transplanting some things from their own growth areas, including a variety of new berry bushes that will have tasty fruit later in the season, and more flowers that seem to have drawn migratory animals back to the city. The Funfronds especially are proud of this and hope the He Rows will continue in the prior commitment some made to see that plants are kept under control despite the corrupting influence of storms.

What's more, those He Rows who reside in Temba will find that the spaces they most commonly kept to, whether they were their houses, their work spaces, or communal spaces, are surprisingly clean. Given there's signs that the Snow Clearing Droids seem to have broken down (one even fell down a pit, oh dear), it's clearly not those that did the dusting, airing out, or even some cleaning of their sheets. Seriously, He Rows are going to return to find that their bedsheets and the like have been stripped from their beds, washed, and folded before being put back onto their beds. Even the fitted sheets and chunky blankets are carefully folded. If asked the Funfronds will explain that Wanderkin asked them to help for He Rows.

The same attempts to clean and tidy won't be found true of Sh'Ka though. Spaces are left to go wild, overgrown, and dusty and dirty. The place where there is the clearest change in Sh'Ka is in the Stone Tree Forest. The slow and undeniable spread it has experienced seems to actually be reversing. The smallest saplings are gone, and there are signs of attempted cutting of some of the towering trees. It's going slowly, but given it's likely the Barrys doing the work, it's impressive that they've managed to fell a handful while you were gone.

In both cities there will be a lot of rain throughout April. It's never very long when it starts to rain, or even very heavy. It's light sprinkles, seemingly out of sunny skies. It's refreshing, it's slightly warm, and it's possibly a delight. The Funfronds in Temba seem to race outside when it starts to dance in it in joy, and the Barries in both cities stop to gather rain in large cups made of woven leaves. Both groups seem to find this rain particularly special, and He Rows who end up under it will feel strangely refreshed.

Toward the end of April and into the start of May this refreshing feeling will start to fade away. The rains will feel colder, more cutting, and will come less commonly. At least there is a lot of sun to live with then, and plenty of windows between the rain to enjoy. Welcome back to Agra-10, He Rows. Hopefully the spring treats you well.

✧ RECENT STORY SUMMARY ✧

He Rows have really been through it so far this year. In addition to New Tick on Noth actually with the Agrii, they have had a recent space adventure. Before they could come back to Agra-10 as intended, though, an explosion rocked the Agrii ship, leaving it mostly dead in the water. He Rows did spot repairs and investigated while trying to deal with Agrii issues related to the damages.

Given the need for more parts, He Rows had no choice but to travel to Spacedock NG-102 to get the parts they needed for a lot more parts. They did their best not only to get what was needed for the Agrii ship, but for themselves. In the process a small team composed of Cayde-6, Tony Stark, and an unprepared Eddie Munson, worked to acquire a vital Anti-Forcefield Tool. They had to go on quite the adventure for Smoool to get what they needed, but the device was acquired.

Meanwhile other He Rows started looking into Non-Agrii Pink Aliens that were sometimes seen around the spacedock. They found out a lot of information, through a variety of means. What it all means put together is really up to them and whoever they share the information with to come to understand. Though it seems like this other species is very aggressive, angry, and honor bound.

Speaking of angry and aggressive, things were not well when the He Rows returned to the Agrii ship. The Agrii adults were upset by the newly vocal and active dumbAI. Turns out the machine accidentally started to gain awareness and self-governance due to an unfortunate pressuring of one Reeve Tuesti to get Tony Stark to sleep the month before. Oops. The adult Agrii turned their attention to a massive amount of debates, to the point where they barely interacted with the He Rows during repairs. But the younger Agrii seem concerned for a whole new reason. Time will tell how the Purple and Orange factions play out, and whether something new will rise from the conflict.

In the last months He Rows have come and gone, but now that you're back on Agra-10 there might be new chances to figure out how to change the cities you are tied to, make your own lives better, and perhaps, with the help of the information you have gained and the Smooolsher, you'll finally be able to make some headway on your investigations on the planet itself. At least you'll know that you'll be in good communication reach with each other, given the new radio towers some He Rows set up months ago. The system is working well and so it won't be hard to call for help if the network and power is down, at least if you can get to one of those towers.

And now, well, it's time to see what April holds!

Finally, as a reminder, all players are free to use this post to plot for April in a way that is accessible to all of our other players.
