ACTIVITY CHECK

Each AC period lasts one calendar month (i.e., from the first to the last day of each calendar month). We are now asking players to submit activity for the previous month in the first week of the next month. So, you have from March 1-7 to post your activity for the month of February. Please make sure your AC is posted by midnight Pacific Time (UTC -8) on March 7.

All characters who have been in the game longer than 1 month (accepted before February 1) must provide proof of activity. New characters who joined the game during the current calendar month do not need to post AC during the month they were accepted. Characters who have been hiatused for at least one week out of the current calendar month/AC period are exempt. For hiatuses that include days from two months, AC passes are valid for the calendar month in which the most days of the hiatus fall.

To post AC, please fill out the form below (replace CAPITALS with your information) for each character you play and post it in a comment below.

If your character has opted to gain expertise from a Data Point, we are asking for this information as well. This is just so we can keep track. If your character has no expertise yet, just leave this field blank.

**Remember, for now characters can switch expertise at will, as long as they get to/touch the new Data Point with the expertise they want. You don't need to play it out or ask for permission, so if you want to assume your character has switched expertises since last AC, that's fine! If your character hasn't opted for an expertise, that's fine - leave it blank when you reply.**

Characters who took a STRIKE last activity period will need to provide either double AC OR two TDM threads with at least five replies from your character that are at max three months old. If you are still concerned about AC, please contact a mod and we will be happy to work with you!

Characters needing to clear a strike:
Katara | [personal profile] waterwhip
Tyrion Lannister | [personal profile] tallasaking

Characters exempt due to hiatus:
Leia Organa | [personal profile] callmegeneral

AC requirements are one of the following for each character played:

- One open post made by your character during the month of the current AC period, with clear effort to follow up on replies. You of course don't have to have replied to every comment before using a post as AC, just show that you've at least made some attempt to reply to comments on the post at some point - basically, we want to discourage making a post on the last day of the AC period simply to submit it for AC.

- Two threads during the month of the AC period containing at least five responses in each from your character that are on average at least three sentences long. (This is a total of 10 comments, 5 in each thread.) Basically, put effort into your responses - using 10 comments that are two words each will not suffice, but not every comment needs to be three sentences or more.

All threads in the main community count toward AC. IC inboxes and TDM threads can be used for one thread but not both. At least one thread for AC must be in the main community, although it can be one that spans multiple months. For example, if there was an event that started in January and has now gone into February, as long as five replies were made by your character in February it can be used again for AC.

Additionally, in-game players can use any two TDM threads from the past three months as an AC 'Get out of Jail Free' card. What that means is that you can use it to remove an AC Strike or to prevent one if you don't have enough regular AC material. You can only use this option once every three months, and again, both TDM threads must be within three months of the current AC month.

If you have more questions, see the AC FAQ or contact a mod. You can also leave questions in a comment here, and we'll get back to you!

Welcome to the Current Test Drive for The Revival Project!

This game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about the game, including more details on the setting, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.

A thread on the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.

If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.

So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!

Thread ideas:

- Explore the city! There's a map here and a bit more description of some of the buildings here. Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working, but power is intermittent and unreliable. The hotel seems to be the most crowded, but you might want into what appears to be an abandoned storefront and find someone else scavenging or even sleeping.

- There are spaceships! That's right, there are currently several small spaceships grounded in the hangar. They appear to have power, but only one ship will let you enter. (For test drive purposes, the ship that will let you enter is up to you, so just pick whichever name appeals, and go for it!) The other ships won't open for you, but it might be worth poking around the one that will...

- Do you hear a storm? A giant, power-altering storm has been ravaging part of the planet for a month. It shows ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? More information can be found  here.

- Can you hear me now? Upon arrival, your character will have on their person a small, handheld communications device. Maybe they know exactly how to use a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and immediately blast out a text or video trying to figure out what's going on. Or maybe they're not so tech-savvy after all, and everyone is about to get a lovely shot right up your character's left nostril.

- Wildcard! You're welcome to use any previous test drive scenarios or previous game events as a basis for a thread/situation, or simply make up your own! Keep in mind that you're currently stranded on a planet with only basic necessities, but there is enough food and fresh water. Creature comforts, however, seem to be distinctly lacking...
