ACTIVITY CHECK

Hello and happy August! Now that the calendar has changed over, it's time for our July Activity Check.

As we're still trying to ease back into regular gameplay, the July AC only requires half of the regular AC proof. This means either one post in the main comm (sorry, there's not really a way to make half a post...) or one thread totaling five comments. You'll find more details below.

Please make sure your AC is posted by midnight Pacific Time (UTC -8) on August 7. There are no strikes to currently clear, and all hiatuses taken in July will be honored.

All characters who have been in the game longer than 1 month (accepted before July 1) must provide proof of activity. New characters who joined the game during the current calendar month do not need to post AC during the month they were accepted, but if you'd like to check in with your expertise if you have one, feel free (but you won't be penalized for not commenting here). Characters who have been hiatused for at least one week out of the current calendar month/AC period are exempt.

To post AC, please fill out the form below (replace CAPITALS with your information) for each character you play and post it in a comment below.

If your character has expertise from a Data Point, we are asking for this information as well. This is just so we can keep track. If your character has no expertise yet, just leave this field blank.

**Remember, for now characters can switch expertise at will, as long as they get to/touch the new Data Point with the expertise they want. You don't need to play it out or ask for permission, so if you want to assume your character has switched expertise since the last time we asked, that's fine! If your character hasn't opted for an expertise, that's fine - leave it blank when you reply.**

AC requirements are one of the following for each character played:

- One open post made by your character during the month of the current AC period, regardless of your ability to follow up on replies. For just this month, any post made in good faith counts, even if you weren't able to address any comments on it. (This is the best we can do to offer half AC for those who made posts.)



- One thread during the month of the AC period containing at least five responses from your character that are on average at least three sentences long. (This is a total of 5 comments, half the normal AC.) Basically, put effort into your responses - using 5 comments that are two words each will not suffice, but not every comment needs to be three sentences or more.

All threads in the main community count toward AC. IC inboxes and TDM threads can also be used as your one proof this month. The thread can be one that spans multiple months. For example, if there was an event that started in June and has now gone into July, as long as five replies were made by your character in July it can be used again for AC.

Also remember, strikes are now back in effect, so if you want/need a strike for July and plan to clear it in August, that's totally fine.
